I just ordered the following from the retail store; love that it's made in France and I have a soft spot for hoodies:

That's a beautiful piece. Congrats.

I do love my hoodies but I kind of need a zipper. But I am considering the companion sweat with leather insert. Anybody have any experience with them as far as sizing? Seems like the kind of piece that may not be too forgiving in the shoulders.

Also, anybody know if they ship the sweats/hoodies with branded SLP garment bags?

Guys,

I'm going for one of the many SLP denim jackets out this year. This one is my fav so far.

There are two others on the YSL website but this one seems to have the best details/materials (it's also the most expensive). I like the idea that it's "stretch" denim, though I don't yet know what it feels like.

Can anyone speak toward the sizing? I think I'd need the XXL as on the Mr P site the measurements clock the chest in at 41.5" while the shoulders are a generous 19.5".

I'm probably not going to be buttoning it up that much so should the fit be closer and go with the XL over the XXL?

I usually get a 42 in jackets.

Thanks for your help, as always.

You should post more in WAYWT, I get the impression you have a lot of cool shit but never know how it's put together.

Random SLP thoughts: saw 2 people with the Hawaiian shirt this morning. Shame the waxed black jeans only come in 15.5 cm this season. The black/white hi tops are growing on me. I found out you can pre-order the Daft Punk stuff. They keep re-ordering the teddy and the black/red and black/indigo hi's.

Anybody know if these run large?

I'm looking at a pair of 42s on eBay but I'm a 9.5 in most sneaks.

Thanks.

I have these, but the high-top version. They don't run large

I just received this from the online store. No garment bag. The packaging is uber nice, however. smile.gif

Hmm, that's strange. I wrote YSL.com and here's what they said:

"The sweatshirt should come in a complimentary garment bag if you purchase from ysl.com."

Only reason I'd buy from them over SSENSE or Mr P.

How's the fit and breathability? I'm seriously considering getting one of those.

It looks amazing.

And really, I have nothing against the YSL store. Just that they charge tax and the others don't.
