Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread. - Page 558

Hey guys,

Have been reading this thread for reference but this is my first time posting here. I need your help with purchasing the Wyatt boots.

I've been interested to buy for a while but wasn't so sure if I can pull
it off or it will be comfortable enough to wear due to the stacked heels. So I tried it last week and suprisingly enjoyed wearing it. Unfortunately size 44 is the biggest they have and the heels area was a little tight for me. (will it stretch?)

Before buying it, I have some questions:
  • Based on the pics, should I buy it? I don't consider myself as typical SLP body type and I think the stacked heels is not so easy to pull of for people with bigger built.
  • Which color would you recommend for lighter brown suede? I'm thinking either nut or tobacco. I'd like to wear it with blue and black jeans or maybe other type of pants. Any other opinion for color is welcomed. biggrin.gif
  • Which season would you recommend in terms of quality and sizing? From what I understand your concern is with the shaft but if I'm wearing jeans size 31/32 (bigger hem) would it still be a problem?

Sorry for the long post guys, I'm really nervous about buying it lol. Thanks a lot! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Curious, is there some guide out there for deciphering SLP tags? I wanted to know whether my L01 was from SS14 or FW14, and the only section I can see that might indicate this from the external tags is 2014 3

Whoooaaa...

The ruffles across her chest seem awkwardly layered and the ends that hang down from the ruffles seem unnecessary, like they couldn't find any way to get rid of them or hide them. And are the vertical dimples across the center because of the fabric or her stomach, or what's causing that?

Terrible. Looks like a sheer version of middle America grandma wear.

Might be a long shot, but I think dry cleaning could do the trick.

Picked up a camel Chesterfield coat in HK for a good discount - it's a beautiful coat, unfortunately it was a size 48 and I need a 46.

If anyone's interested, please PM me in next few days, otherwise I will return it. Cheers.

those aren't super destroyed, they're just reissues of the trash denim (despite what lvr calls them). all the first/second/third season jeans fit skinnier through the leg, and bigger at the waist. the fw14 jeans are probably the skinniest. the ss16 jeans depend on which style you get, in general they're a little looser than previous seasons as per the runway. but let's face it, unless you have a source that's selling lots of fw14 denim, none of this should be much of an issue.

your wyatt boots look fine, good, cool, in fact you need to size way down on those jeans and that top. but (no offense), you're going to need a lot more confidence than that to pull them off. they're really not going to work if you're that dubious and worried about them, they're just going to heighten your insecurity about being yourself. so just chill and buy them when and if you appreciate what they're saying to you, until then maybe ask yourself why you want shoes that make you anxious.

New jodhpurs hedi 30 came out.. But they are a shade darker than previous seasons..Even tho the box says sigaro, as previous season, it definitely is not the same.

Also they changed the tab on the jodhpurs slightly too.. It's like lower, or shoe itself isn't as high.. I personally like the dark color better.. The tab I'm not sure why they changed

Here's pics
