I saw a re-stock today and the Hedi 30 Chelseas aren't narrow in the shaft like the old Wyatt Chelseas were, but look acceptable and should be fine with D02s, like the French 60 Chelseas are. I didn't try them, but could pretty much tell by the shape - they ramp up to a gentle slope, whereas the Wyatt Chelseas go up to vertical and then beyond, like a skateboard ramp that goes even steeper than vertical, so you get them sticking forward into the jeans pulling them forward - you'd have to stand leaning forward for them not to. It's like they stuck a flat shoe shape on a heel so it's tilted up. For some reference, my day to day jeans are AW 13 raw indigos, and have shrunk from washing and drying so have about a 15 cm hem, but still fit over the new Wyatt Chelsea in 45, they just don't look right with it because of being pulled forward due to the strange shape. I'm reasonably confident the Hedi 30s will be workable though, as long as what I saw today wasn't old stock and the new have been changed (didn't bother trying them as I have them arriving on Tuesday - will try on Wednesday and report back).

The Wyatt Chelsea being ruined for me in my size breaks my heart. Still glad I have at least one pair of them for day to day. People that wear smaller sizes should be fine though (saw a 42 on display and it looks plenty slim, definitely slim enough for 15.5 cm jeans.

Forgot to mention, looks like the chain harness boots are back to being slim in the shaft (but without old zip). Wasn't able to see a re-stock on the regular harness though. Neither are my thing anyway, but just for information purposes.

Anything I ever ordered from ysl.com came with a box, even shirts and belts, I got quite a stack already.

On the other hand I ordered a belt from another retailer lately and it came without the bag, warranty card, and tags. They told me that's who they have been getting them from Saint Laurent.

It's hit or miss I guess, my second Hedi jacket came with a Brioni hanger and garment bag (from Mr Porter)

^ That's a lie. The belts go out from YSL in like a long kind of foam tube, with the envelope with auth. card etc. stuck in the end of the tube at a wider portion (the online store remove them before shipping them so you may not have seen this). Bags are sent out with them. LVR at least always ships with the bags so it's not only the online store.

I pretty much only order from the online store when it comes to online as I've had too many bad experiences with other retailers, LVR excepted. LNCC are good too actually, don't even tag the stuff themselves, but send it out literally still in the plastic bags from production.

@kieran84 I've been trying to decide on a new pair of daily-wear boots but, so far, I'm unimpressed with what I've seen online. I hit up my SA at Ave Montaigne to look for a few things but did you see anything in-store that stuck out as being great? I feel like the current boot offerings are really lackluster...

To be honest Prudy I'd have to say no. The only thing I'm hopeful about is the Hedi 30 Chelsea, but that's permanent and while really nice isn't all that exciting.

I like the idea of the cropped Chelsea, but apparently it's only coming in suede, and the London 20 isn't really the most sturdily built shoe for day to day use.

I have to say that I do really like the gold Wyatt side zips and expect them to fly off the shelves. They're a kind of coppery gold, a little more subtle than expected, and will be super cool on the right person that can pull them off. I didn't really expect to like them and was pleasantly surprised.

A part of me still wants the leopard mid top as well which hasn't yet arrived.

On clothes, I didn't try much at all today as I was focused on footwear and didn't have much time. I did try the star t-shirt in white, but wasn't really feeling it. I liked the fit and the off-white ivory colour, but the design I found a bit corny / not my thing. Fit isn't at all like LVR's pictures where it looks really oversized. It's actually quite slim in the sleeves and top portion, but long and loose in the body. A little bit like the fit of Undercover t-shirts.

I love the space ship parka and the leopard / blue track top, but wouldn't wear either so didn't try. Also love the leopard scarf. Stunning.

I planned to try the Acne thin jeans today but didn't get time. Anybody know what size I should get if I wear a 29 in AW 13 raw D02, and 28 in all D02s after, and any input on their fit? Cheers

^ cool, thanks for the info. I like the gold Wyatts as well - they sold out online over here quickly but I might have my contact send me a pair. I would love to find a pair of black boots for daily wear, oh well...I'm a huge fan of permanent collection items so I'm looking forward to your opinion on the 30s you're awaiting.

Yeah if you haven't seen the gold in the flesh yet, I think you'll really like them. They'd look even better when they get a bit beat up too.

I have the black canvas backpack. It's a no brainer. Very discreet, yet a little elegant strip of yellow with minimal branding. It exudes quality but is not over the top. The shoulder straps are padded, so very comfortable to boot.

That's the one. I get compliments on it quite often, and as others have noted, SLP backpacks are spacious.

Now that you mention it, my brown Dylan belt came like that from Matches Fashion
