Everyone hold onto SLP stuff they want to sell until Hedi's actually gone. Then sell it for triple the price :P

So I'm in the market for sneakers. I'm thinking along the lines of Lanvin/Buttero/Common Projects, but I wonder if SLP has something comparable? I realize all these brands are the usual names one drops when talking about non-Nike sneakers, but I do like their sharper designs. Ideally I'd want a low-top, minimalist pair, which is one reason CP Achilles currently leads my list. Thoughts?

Hey All -

Would anyone potentially be interested in a BNWT FW15 camel hair chesterfield coat? I found a few on sale, ordered a 46 and a 48 and I'll be deciding which one to keep later in the week (I'm in between sizes, trying to decide which one fits me better).

I was just going to return the one I didn't keep but since these are such nice coats and are $$$ new and hard to come by in smaller sizes on sale, I thought I would potentially offer to pass along the discount I got if someone wanted to take advantage of it.

Feel free to PM me if interested.

Prudy

He's been rumored to take over Chanel for quite a while now and I believe the latest V Mag editorial alluded to something that Kering was not at all happy about.

I hope Hedi actually leaves SLP to spite them for releasing $500 flip flops and $900 swim shorts. Absurd.

Debating on some hemmed denim.. Do they fit skinny like last years seasons? Cause FW15 d02 didn't have that hedi look.. Thighs were looser etc. do the hems fit more like OG? Also what else can you rock hems with other than Santiags?

He can still do menswear, but only for the select few he wants to wear his stuff ala haute couture. Spending a full year non stop designing 4+ collections only for some mall brand to knick your entire work in a matter of days and give it away as well as his obvious dissappointment of the current state of fashion and having no interest in collaborations and what not ( which is something I'm sure kering would be thrilled to be a part of) I imagine a house like Chanel would be the only place left he'd want to go unless he's just over it completely.

What is this editorial that you're referring too? Any context or links?

Also, @Prudy what was the discount you got on the coat?

It's the latest V Mag with Hedi & Karl shooting each other. Some of the images have been posted in this thread already. I haven't read or seen the issue yet but a friend of mine that works with the mag mentioned that Lady Gaga as guest editor refers to Hedi as being newly selected by Karl as the heir to his empire or something to that effect in a blurb or editors section. She didn't seem surprised but thought it was something that would have made more sense after fashion week this month and caught most people off guard. Should be an interesting month in Paris.
