Yes they are 42 haha. My usual size is 43. However in wyatts I got 42.5 and in hedi 30 I got 42 as they fit albeit it snugly.
I ordered the only remaining pair of Sevilles from thr selfridges website in size 43. Hopefully they will fit and then I'll make a decision on which I'll keep and which I'll sell if any. Will update you as and when.
Hey guys, sorry for beating a dead horse, but any more input on sizing for these? I saw a couple people mention sizing up(as Mr. Porter recommends), and a few saying they needed to size down; I understand this might be a manufacturing thing but any more insight would be great.
I'm a true 44.5, but only had the option of ordering a full-size. I went 44, but I'm wondering if I should swap it out for a 45 before they ship. I jumped the gun online and won't have a chance to try on in-store before the weekend.
Thanks!

is this jeans real?
I've been eyeballing those for a while, with the new pictures and talking with the seller... seems legit after seeming fake.
Thanks for the info and I just wanted to show you what I found, I frequent yahoo Japan auctions and I'll pm you if a 32 ever shows up
Yeah, everything that you get in store, also t-shirts / belts / knitwear etc. will come in a Saint Laurent box. I think stores might have these too, but they don't tend to bother using them. Also, has anyone ordered from YSL direct? I know their e-commerce is run by Yoox but was wondering if they send out all the cool stuff you get in the boutique - Jean bags, hangers, etc.
Word of caution: you should avoid buying through a proxy to import from Japan if you have any questions at all about authenticity, I believe you forgo some/all of your buyer protection (assuming you used paypal). It would be an extremely uncomfortable/sticky situation at best dealing with trying to procure a refund through a proxy from some person in Japan.
And btw - both pairs from yahoo.jp linked above are atrocious fakes.
Its extremely easy to tell from the pictures, like open a new tab with a pic of the authentic ones and you'll see INSTANTLY. If you're visually impaired you can just read the description and more often than not there will be little disclaimers. For example in the first link
" This is overseas parallel import goods. It becomes substitute exhibition. A person of strong commitment to genuine. Please refrain from the tender there is a strong commitment to genuine national."
This is google translate so not an exact translation by any means but I took the gist of it to be:
This is an overseas imitation product. It is a possible substitute if you cant find/afford the real thing. Please refrain from bidding if you are strongly committed to a genuine product.
My interpretation/google translate may be a little off but one thing is for sure, those are fake as hell.
