The color is very rich, and the buttons have a great worn look to them, IIRC. Stitching is nice, etc. I missed not having pockets.

It was cropped a little too short for me, as I had to go with an XS to get that sleek look, but then my shirts invariably creeped out of the bottom.

Best thing about it, strangely, was the high arm holes and therefore very skinny arms. I thought that looked great.

Which season did you have??

So I've heard the new L01 have gotten looser in the arms, not as slim fit. Is this true? Also has anyone tried to get them slimmed down by the tailor? If so would it mess up the shoulders?

I want the washed indigo one, it looks really nice fabric and wash as usual, and the fit of course. Pretty expensive..

The fit on the SS15 washed indigo was horrible IMO - huge in the arms and chest. Not sure if this is the same one still available online/in stores.

My favorite fit/finish of any SLP denim jacket so far was the SS15 March 2 1978 jacket. Not for everybody a la the embellishments but It's fantastic if you like all that.

Did anyone have the opportunity to try on the camel hair overcoat from FW15?  I've been thinking about picking it up but have to order online and can't try it in person.

If so, how was the fit and quality?

Thanks!

@Prudy I tried it on. Fit was great, and as I recall the wool was really thick almost stiff. Seemed high quality to me. The only reason I didn't get it was because camel doesn't look great against my skin tone.

I doubt you'd regret the purchase.

It's really nice - would recommend if you can swing it.

Awesome, thanks man - appreciate it. I assumed it would be a bit stiff, much like the original duffle coats.

Found one at 30% off in my size so I'll probably take the plunge.

It will be good for you in a 48, slightly bigger than the peacoat you have in the arm holes though. I also didn't buy because of the colour not suiting me, but fit and quality is very nice.

Thanks, Kieran - I am trying to figure out if I am wearing a suit or sweaters underneath if I should go up a size...I need a coat for when it's cold and more formal, i.e, I would have a shirt/blazer combo going on as well...The duffle peat coat fits perfectly with a medium-weight sweater but I can't really button it up with a full suit/tie situation wink.gif

Friend of mine borrowed me his fw13 sequined sweater, took some pics of it to later post on the blog; btw if anyone of you has it in XXS and is willing to sell, please PM me as I want to buy one :) Cheers guys

I tried the camel coat on. It's beautiful. It fits pretty slim though. I can't imagine wearing a suit jacket underneath when i tried it on a sweater or button up? Sure. Suit jacket. Doubt it.
