I'm in Western Massachusett. I'll actually be in NYC next weekend so maybe I'll just bring it there. I didn't know they would tailor anything that wasn't bought at the store (though Donald and his tailoring crew did take care of my raw denim jacket I bought from Mr P).

I left the pants with my tailor to let out a bit but now I'm rethinking that. Might just bring the whole thing in.

Thanks!

Oh cool, the tailor there is Ilena (IIRC). It's 50/50 whether they'll do it gratis. It'd be good to give them a call the day of or before to ensure she'll be around. If you buy in the store, there is no charge, but outside there might be a few. My guess, $100. Maybe if you buy a shirt or something at the same time they won't even charge you, but it's not an easy job to take the sleeves up. While you're there, I'd recommend they check out the top back of the jacket as well. It's rare that there wouldn't be a bubble of fabric there, i.e., that it drapes perfectly, but maybe you got lucky!

Right on! Yeah, it was $125 to do my denim but they basically had to cut me a whole new jacket. Must have had fifty pins in me at one point. Crazy.

Thanks for the info. Not used to the big-ass shoulder pads but it's not an everyday kind of suit, either.

@ohyehhh looking sharp!

Good call on the shoulder pads. That seems to be one of the more distinctive features of Hedi's designs these days. I have been very impressed with the canvassing and draping of the jackets. The construction is solid. They claim it's hand stitched, but I find that hard to fathom.

@SirGrotius duffle pea coat looks great, I've been wearing mine as well lately it is killer.

Actually liking all the FW15 items I bought, great cuts and cropped, nice and fitted. French boots are super comfy and they look so good...some great knitwear and outterwear this season in particular.

Should you go TTS for a teddy jacket? Tried it on at the store but didn't know how it should fit.
Felt real good in the arms but was really cropped. Then tried a size up but it felt so similar lol.
