Does anyone know when the SLP fall 15 line will go on sale?

Hey guys,

I recently became the proud owner of a SLP classic two button suit.

I need to get the arms shortened and my tailor doesn't feel comfortable taking it up at the shoulder.

Anybody here have any experience with shortening suit jacket sleeves? Definitely don't want to lose the buttons/button holes on the cuff.

I can probably guess how much needs to be taken off so if there is a good tailor to rec (that I could send it in to) I'd love to know.

Thanks in advance!

^ The above link should work.

I've grabbed the red and black long striped scarf which I'm pretty pleased about as I was planning to get it anyway:

£150 down from £250.

I'm hoping to basically take my current day to day outfit (all black, ignore shirt, too cold for that now):

and add to it the scarf insouciantly wrapped around a-la nekojiru (taken from IG):

Wish I had the fw13 coat ^^. Here's hoping the look works - YSL.com are allowing returns until 8th Jan for all orders between now and delivered before 24th Dec.

Hi Alexander -- where are you based? All the boutiques will be able to do this, and they have great experience assuming they sell suits. Definitely get it taken up from the shoulders, not the sleeves. It's not only that you'll lose the effect of the working button holes, but you'll also lose some of the flow of the arm (i.e., it won't be as skinny) if you take it up from the bottom.

IIRC, you're based in Europe, but if you're in the States, I can vouch for the tailors at the NYC (midtown), King of Prussia, and Chicago boutiques. They've all done work for me, and are good. KOP in Philadelphia is actually the best tailor, IME.

Would you guys say to go TTS for the current French 85 Chelsea's? I'm pretty standardly a 42.5. Does anyone have these boots, and can do a quick measurement of the sole/insole?

Thanks, Sir G.

I'm in Western Massachusett. I'll actually be in NYC next weekend so maybe I'll just bring it there. I didn't know they would tailor anything that wasn't bought at the store (though Donald and his tailoring crew did take care of my raw denim jacket I bought from Mr P).

I left the pants with my tailor to let out a bit but now I'm rethinking that. Might just bring the whole thing in.

Thanks!
