Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread. - Page 481

I bought a d02 black raw stretch in a size 30 in a saint laurent boutique in Barcelona, but they stretched out a whole lot during my travel, and I got them tailored at the Saint Honore Saint Laurent boutique in paris, but after a few more days it stretched like crazy and ordered a size 29 online, but the only problem is that the one i boutght in Barcelona is made in Japan and the one I ordered online es made in Italy, is there any difference, sorrry for my horrible english, im Argentinian lol. Great threat by the way;)

Those jeans look nice. Glad they came to their senses with the price (unless womens were always that much)

the prices for women have been fairly comparable with men's collection, I am one to assume that if they are lowering the price of their denim means that the "quality" may drop?

BUT

I did speak to one of the reps at the Rodeo Dr store and he said that Saint Laurent now has their own factory in which all denim will be produced in, so HOPEFULLY this means lower production cost and no outsourcing and that the sizing will remain uniform for their cuts, they have changed factories over the last cpl yrs, so I would guess that is why some of the denim is cut differently? let me know what you guys have heard

New womenswear looks great to me. Perhaps that portends good things for the men's collection.

On a related note, I was at the new midtown boutique a couple days ago, and it's very fresh and vibrant. The crowd was eclectic and wealthy, but not annoyingly so! I really liked the salespeople. I'd recommend a guy Donald there, who will go out of his way to find you great things without any pressure. The tailoring has been upped, as well, as the suits are fully canvassed and hand stitched. The fabric isn't necessarily Dior level (hence 3K vs. 4.5K suits on average), but that is not necessarily a bad thing, since you'll start with slimmer profiles at SLP vs. Dior now, and the SLP swatches are more aggressive off the rack, and sometime finer fabrics can be a bit on the delicate side, at least in my limited experience.

What was the price before they fixed it? I think I'm just going to start proxying everything from EU the prices here are nutty.

Did you guys ever have any problems with returns on the ysl online store?

Never (other than sometimes being a bit slow). Customer service has always been great for me when dealing with the online store.

Saw these on the luisaviaroma website for the summer/spring 2016 collection in preorder status. Any opinions? Looks really similar to the current season look... just lighter colour and more destressed detail.
