These are raw denim, right? Wash them as little as possible, especially the first time as this lets the fades set in (the longer you wait the better). Obviously, you don't want home smelling funky, so try not to sweat in them, etc. Some hardcore raw denim heads will even use febreeze before washing them.

Once you decide to wash them (6 months minimum waiting period), turn them inside out, soak them in lukewarm water in a bathtub with a little Woolite Dark. Give them a little shake and let them sit for about 30-60 minutes. Empty the tub, rinse with cold water to get the suds off them and hang dry. If you hang them in the sun, there's some talk that they might help with the fades.

These are rereleases, not the original with the exposed zips and slim shafts. Farfetch also had the chain version but that sold out a few weeks ago.

I have a pair of AW 13 raw indigos that I wear for every day use (these have been absolutely hammered). I just throw them in the wash and have washed them pretty warm at times, as well as dried them directly on the radiator. They shrank quite a lot that way and are considerably tighter than the brand new pair of the same style that I have banked away for future use. They fade nicely too.

The rattler, thanks for the information. I'm actually considering the 1 button peak lapel black from this season as I tried it the other day and liked it. I tend to prefer notch lapels but the idea of it is growing on me by the day.

I also tried several coats while I was in London but haven't bought any yet as I'm caught directly between sizes where a 48 is too tight with thick knitwear, and a 50 is just big looking (blazers work pretty well for me in 50 though, with just some spare material at the back which I don't mind as it just gives some movement when I walk).

Surprise of the season for coats for me was this one - I was set against it until I was convinced to try it by one of the sales assistants and actually loved it:

Can you guys help me out with the name of this blazer?

Also, can someone that owns this pair of jeans post fit pics?I'm really interested in buying them, but I can't find any pictures online except the ones on the store.

yeah, the stand collar coat is really quite an amazing piece. but you have to try it to get it.

i grabbed the suede harness wyatts, very happy with them. the color is also true black, unlike the "chocolate" fw13 color way.

I've recently moved from taking an M to taking L which is actually a better size for me I've discovered, and so I'm going to be looking to sell off some of the back up M stuff I have. All these are brand new with all tags still attached and only ever tried on once - I'm pretty ocd about storage etc so these are literally like they just came off production.

Black and ivory striped SS 14 crew neck sweater

Black extra fine merino knit crewneck from AW 13

Black silk crew neck t shirt from AW 14 (standard carry over)

Black silk V neck t shirt form SS 15 (again standard carry over one)

Black SS15 blood luster t-shirt (the very fine black cotton one not this seasons thick faded one)

Red and black striped AW 15 crew neck sweater

Black and ivory stripe linen t shirt from SS15

Also have a spare black leather with silver 2cm 3 passant belt never even tried on (I have like 3 of them so didn't need to try) size 85

Let me know if anybody is interested and I'll get back with pictures if you need them, and prices.

You wouldn't by any chance have any silver geometric buckle belts in 85 that you're thinking of selling would you?

Do you mean this one?

Or the big geometric one from SS 14?

I have the first but use it for every day use. Love the second but don't have it. I kind of wish I'd bought it at the time now, but £780 seemed too expensive to me at the time.

On not washing - my experience is that all that is over-rated. My every day ones have been washed every 2-4 weeks and they've held their shape and faded very nicely. I also don't get holes in them like people that don't wash seem to.

I've always been that person that never washed but after wearing alot starts to smell a bit. And at that time I would dry clean.. But then I came around information that said dry cleaning ruins denim fabric and longevity of the fabric. So I came here to ask cause I believe I might just in cold then hang. Or hot if I want little shrinkage and hang as well........

On another note just a question does anybody have the low top London jod and the high top jod?? Both light brown... How you mix up the two with your wears? The lows to me always feel more summer/spring.. My two cents
