For 21st: I want also the teddy jacket black/white in size 44, but this size is sold out everywhere. Where you found the size 44?
Let me know, many thanks!

The Chicago store has it in a size 42. Runs large, so may work for you.

I'm assuming he meant italian size 44, which is what SLP uses. Not sure I've ever seen 42 (XXS) but that would be cool for that particular jacket!

I got it from luisaviaroma before it sold out.

From what I've seen, personal shoppers in Japan are selling size 44.

In my opinion, 44 is too big around the chest and arms. But if I down the size, It's hard to raise the arms.

Ps. If you're skinny. 42(Female) will be more perfect fit for you.

I'm thinking about purchasing a SLP leather biker jacket after

several Rick Owens and Balmain jackets.

I'm torn between the "classic biker" and model L17.

Does anyone know what's the difference (except the look)?

How do they compare concerning fit, length, armhole diameter etc.

Your help is very much appreciated. I do not know which one to take.

It seems that this seasons jackets are all made from Lamb leather.

Is it substantial enough? Usually I prefer Calf leather because

it's not so shiny and thicker.

Thank you very much!

I've had both. I've really liked all my rick's but I grew tired of them eventually and wanted something more subtle and that would work better with my wardrobe since i've mostly been wearing SLP. I picked up a recent stooges jacket since I find Rick jackets to be more functional but it was flimsier than a target jacket. Just really awful quality.

So I went through about 3 different SLP leathers including the classic biker and L17 and they all looked great, but were just too short and cropped for my frame. I also found the leather to be nice and supple but very thin and delicate. Maybe they get more substantial during the right season, but I didn't find them to be very functional in any case. More of a statement/accessory or editorial piece.

Rick is hit and miss, but nothing beats the two zipper interior pockets (Sometimes when I go traveling I just take the jacket and put my iPad mini and whatever accessories I need for hygiene, etc and don't even need to bring a carry on.

I might take a look at some of Schott's custom jackets though since they're really well priced and made in the USA and essentially give you the classic rider look.

Hey,

Anybody able to get the SLP crash denim or blown knee denim from FW13 Size 31, willing to offer an arm and a leg for it.

The L17 fits slimmer. The SS13 L01 is, I believe, calf leather, if you can find it.

30 too small for me. Should let Max-t know, he's looking for a pair in a 30

Luisa still stocks one SS13 L01 in size 50, but it is made from lamb leather as well.

On their pictures it looks much more shiny than the FW13 lamb jacket.

SLP calf is much more substantial than the lamb they use and I noticed less variations in leather quality from jacket to jacket, YMMV.

Schott 626 sucks. Way too long (26").
