Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread. - Page 114

Ahh, terrible to hear and see. My experience with cleaners is that they know nothing and care even less about the garments; however, that job is egregiously bad.

You're in NYC, right? I'd call the guys at Dior Homme (Hojo, in particular), as they have some special cleaner whom they recommend, literally, there is only one in the city who gets it.

I'm in Suburban Philadelphia and spend extra money to get all my dress shirts cleaned as "tuxedos" and "hand pressed," which has worked thus far with only one or two minor tragedies in the past four or five years. I consider it a cost of doing business. I don't wear suits and outerwear enough (or go into smoking environments) where I need a cleaning for them.

I live in Paris where there are dry cleaners on every street corner.. most of them claiming "specialists of luxury goods".. well I've had my share of "accidents" last one being only few weeks ago with some brand new off white APC's that came back brown.. as depressing as it is, I'm not really sure there is much one can do about it (last one offered me vouchers for the amount of the item, as if i was ever giving them business again). As others have suggested, I would carefully research the best possible dry cleaner in your area for your really expensive items: i.e outerwear. I found out who Lanvin uses and now only use that service for my suits & outerwear needs. It's about triple what a regular cleaner charges and i need to drive across town but the service is absolutely impeccable and care free. FWIW silk is an extremely delicate fabric to clean & should never be ironed...

Just curious, the new stuff on saint laurent's website and in the stores is just pre fall stuff right? Meaning this isn't the entire fall collection and more  will be added in the next month or so?

No what you're seeing is F/W 14, there might be a few more bits added but the majority of the collection is there.

Those should make another comeback after the shadow plaids in a new color way. Most of the stuff that comes in after Pre Fall is permanent collection or iterations of items in the permanent collection. Washed denim, graphic t's and footwear usually trickle in with new styles or designs, but they will show up randomly.

Hey guys, I've been looking for a pair of the Jodhpur cropped boots sz 43 in the tan color for months now and can't find a pair. Was wondering if anyone can help? I'm completely fine with a used pair. Thank you.

Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. I missed out on all the ones last season and I'm determined to get a few this time around.
