Anyone have the FW14 black destroyed in a 31 they want to part with (or a line on one)? Reissue is fine as well.
What brands go well with the SLP look? I cant afford 600$ flannels, 300$ t-shirts, $1,000 sweaters and $5k coats -- YET. I was thinking Acne or Robert Geller, but I may be completely off base.

Well, I mean, I could technically afford it, but I'd have a very small wardrobe. I'm only 18, haha. I'm sure there are other brands that go great with SLP.nothing!
dont buy anything now and just save for later since i'm assuming you can afford it in the future by saying "yet" haha

What is this editorial that you're referring too? Any context or links?
Also, @Prudy
what was the discount you got on the coat?
H&M and the Kooples shouldn't be in the same sentence as Acne, lol. MMM and Raf go great with SLP? John Elliot for T's. I dont know about shirts though. Dries Van Noten coats. I'm not filthy rich, but I have 0 bills atm and spend over $1k on clothing a month/ I'm 18.I think you can certainly get your denim and shirts/t-shirts elsewhere, for example. Depends on how 'basic' your look is. The problem with mixing SLP with other brands is that the proportions can be really off, sometimes. SLP is pretty particular, but, again, depends on your style (it is harder to find good 'dressier' alternatives but the more casual stuff is easier IMO). Really, though, if you want to you could do Kooples and H&M, Acne, etc. and get close with the look for more casual stuff. Quality differences are instantly aparrent, however. IME I would rather save my money and spend $400 on a (for sale) silk shirt from SLP than buy 3-4 ill-fitting Kooples knockoffs that fall apart and fade after a few washes.
If you live in the US and aren't filthy rich it's tough, though - SLP is very $$$$.
Looking for vintage pieces as mentioned above is certainly a good idea.

Did you get both coats from barneysHey, well - as it turns out the 48 I found for sale online didn't end up shipping out as they had already sold it in store. Luckily, the 46 I found is spot on.
I found them both for approximately 40% off.
