That's disappointing. I was hoping it would be the D10 (mid waist) based on YSL's description. I'll try them tomorrow and see how they look though before ruling them out.

I could live with the looser fit if they kept all of the wash details. none of the details you see on ysl made it to the final product. I have last seasons versions and plan on cropping them shorter to wear with the new season sneakers.

I don't really mind the lack of details as that will come with time, but I do prefer skinny fit, especially when planning to crop them shorter as even the skinny ones end up looking pretty loose when you crop them (I also don't imagine them looking too good with boots). Many of the jeans on the runway don't look loose enough to be D01 but rather somewhere between the two.

I presume last year's ones were D02?

LVR's description says 15 cm hem so I wonder if there was a change when they came to be produced. They also look to be skinny in the photos:

Last years were d02. I made the mistake of sizing up on my last years as I didn't like the feeling of the waist being too tight. My true size is 29 but I sometimes get size 30. My raw hems last year are a size 31 and fairly loose now. I tried the size 29 of this season and the waist is tighter and fits better. The rest looked pretty much like my size 31 in the thigh and knee area.

Cheers, I thought they probably were D02 last year. I'm thinking the D01 might be a nice change for me this year and look good with this season's trainers or with vans for summer wear, as long as the thigh and knee is reasonably slim. I have both a 28 and 29 here from the online store so will have the luxury of choosing between the two.

If these don't work out it throws a bit of a spanner in the works for my plans to get the sneakers and the socks, as I really only wanted them to wear with the raw hem jeans (I have both the red and black and black and ivory striped socks on hold in store at the moment).

I don't think they are that baggy. Since mine are already loose, it made no sense for me to keep them as they both look the same. They aren't skin tight but not a true d01 either.

How much are the socks? Haven't seen them

That's good to hear. The jeans look nice on the runway anyway.

I'm not sure how much the socks are, didn't ask. I just reserved both colours in my size and plan to go and pick them up Monday. I thought they'd be a nice fun touch.

I picked up my Hedi boots today and tried some of the new items on. I actually really liked the oversized sweater and while the "ya baby" bomber looks a bit more street wearish with what I happen to be wearing it was nice.

Light coated came in from zoo fashion. Love these. They are as pictured. Surprise I didn't get hit with customs. These came out to less than 450.

Coated look nice Jbidwal. How's the fit? What are you thinking about hemming them shorter? I'm kind of planning to leave them long as otherwise we'll lose the detail near the hem. Going to try them on shortly, excited now.

I'll report back on the socks when I go.

I just got finished trying my new jeans.

I bought a pair of AW 15 mid waist in 29 because I think I've maybe gained a little weight recently, and when I tried my 28s recently they were a little tight in the waistband. The 29 looks great and is a good skinny fit, just nice and comfortable in the waist and seat now. Love these jeans and will probably by a second.

Also got a 28 and 29 in the raw hem SS 16 jeans. I really like these a lot. They have baked in creases in the front of the hips, and the back of the knee, and the edge is subtly frayed (look the same as SS 15 from pictures I've seen though). The code inside them is D01 MSK MW so a mid waist D01, however they are quite skinny, just not tapered much beyond the calf. They are a higher waist than the mid waist from AW 15, and slightly looser. I'm kind of in two minds between the 28 and the 29 but I think I'm going to go with the 29 for a looser fit. The 28 kind of just looks like any skinny jeans because they're quite tight, whereas I can see more of the intended cut and details in the 29. Length is pretty short and I don't even need to hem them. I probably will have them shortened into a cropped length though. They look great with Wyatt Chelseas, but also pretty good with cracked shiny French Chelseas and cropped jodhpur boots.

Also bought the light coated jeans, but these are very similar looking to my leather effect ones from SS 13 which I don't wear all that often, so I'm going to return them. The details are nice though, baked in creases and texture, and the stacking at the bottom is quite baked in too. Good value for all the treatment, I just prefer plainer models.

They fit skinny which I love. I'm not going to hem them. They stack nicely. The coating and detail is really nice on them. Not your typical coated plain black.

Yeah they fit well. It's weird because they're so comfortable on that they feel like they're loose, but then you look in the mirror and they're skinny.
