You'll probably fall in love with a new inspiration of the biker jeans in a few seasons from now.

Perfect fit and absolutely great look with those white hi tops. I can understand your temptation! smile.gif

Thanks, you + the others are right, saved me from an expensive mistake - I'm already equivalently in love with my next new shiny thing (Givenchy Rottweiler sweatshirt haha). Fashion is fickle :)

Hi guys may ask something about the denim...

what is the difference between 15.5cm and 17.5cm, is it only below the knee? so the thighs are same tightness?

also are there japanese indigo denim for saint laurent? on luisaviaroma all i see is italy..

and why on sl site only low waisted jeans?

A lot. No. Sometimes. By design.

Answer quality proportional to question asker's overall contribution quality.

i dont know and i hate that ! i bought my 15,5 highwaisted D05 black from barneys website, but ysl.com didnt even carry them, there not that highwaisted, they just sit higher then D02, ( which i owned and found that sit way too low, personnal preference) i wish they made more model in D05, like lightwash etc. i think there only from SS14 ( you can see in the runaway that model have their pants really high, probably D05 or highwaist trouser)

Hey,

When purchasing your denim, if you guys are in between sizes how do you go about approaching this? For both raw and stretch denim.

A) First pair fits perfectly on the waist but it's fairly tight in the thighs
B) Second pair fits a little loose on the waist (if any stretching occurs, might have to wear a belt to keep it at hip level) but the thighs are a lot more comfortable.

Do you choose option a or b?

Are the beige cropped Jodhpurs part of the permanent collection? Been wanting to cop a pair but not seeing it on the site. Wasn't sure if they were from a past collection or just out of stock.

Anyone know the difference between the black denim Made In Italy vs Japan jackets? The Italy one is $1050 while the Japan one is about $790 - Seems strange to me, as the Japan one looks a bit nicer. I picked up the Italy Black Denim Jacket and am wondering how you guys are pairing yours? Seems a bit forced when you're wearing any kind of denim, black, blue, waxed, etc.

is it just me or does it seem like the "special" denim such as crash, stained rip denim, blue whiskered jeans etc all fit extremely small on the thighs and legs, but really big on waist?

I'd go with A. The jeans will stretch slightly. After about a week or two, they won't be as tight but still snug. At the end of the day you should go with what you feel comfortable with though mate.

I find that it's true. Those grey ripped ones from last season fit fairly snug although slightly loose around the top block at size 30. On the other hand, SS/14 black stretch denim was too loose at the top block in size 30. The blue faded pair from A/W 13 are really snug in that size all around, including the top block at size 30. It depends honestly.

I would also definitely go with A.

A friend of mine also told me this, and he has multiple pairs of 15.5 cm's. However, I've had the raw, plain black, black stained + knee rip, black patched/repaired pairs, and while the raw fit large in the waist, the rest more or less fit the same.

Well the F/W varsity jackets got a sizeable price bump.

Really like the look of many of them, but the black/white one is really drawing my eye. Itching to jump on it, but any of you already own it?

Thoughts on it... and possibly pics? :D

I've never spent that much on a nonleather jacket before and wool usually isn't my thing. Was tempted to grab a full leather varsity jacket, but the design on this one is unforgettable.

I tried some 15.5 cms and they fit fine in the waist but tight in the legs, would going up a size be doable or does the 15.5cm cut just not work for me?
