FWIW I'd bought the AW15 light coated D02s back in summer. Bagged out quite badly at the knees and the hem width stretched much more than I thought it would. The jeans are currently being hemmed before I can wear them again...no idea what to do about the knees, though.

What's the fabric blend on them?

You could taper at just the knee areas where it's stretched. I've done it

I picked up this Blackmeans x Labrat leather for 750 off grailed today and there are bikers from undercover, sandro, burberry, blackmeans etc all for well under 2k. Just saying, that's 3 grand worth of SLP you can buy if you opt out of purchasing a 5k L01.

thats all the advice I can give, as I dont own an L01 haha

has anyone tried the corduroy denim?
It's awesome. I bought two pairs, black and a greenish-gray. Skinny fit. Somehow it feels more forgiving than the 15.5 Made in Japan black denim, which I also own. There's a slight velvet aspect to it so it can have a touch of sheen, this is subtle, but makes it somewhat dressier and less old man. I wear the same size in all my SLP pants, 28, so didn't have to change anything. I had them hemmed though, as it can look a little more sloppy to have "stacks" on cords.

Accurate representation of what my raw hems looked like. They may all end up like this. Disappointing they took the lazy route and got rid of all the nice details.

Wait, who did that to your raws? They literally left it without a stitch, just ragged? I can't imagine a boutique doing this, as they should be pretty familiar with the idea of moving the original hem up. It's not that complex.

What a disaster!

That's disappointing. I was hoping it would be the D10 (mid waist) based on YSL's description. I'll try them tomorrow and see how they look though before ruling them out.

I got it at full retail because a size 44 L01 are rare to find, at least I didn't find one. If you wear other sizes like 46 or larger you may get deals online and its worth buying most of the times because the L01 aways look kinda new.

Your take on humor fails miserably......
