Black hawaiin is my favorite piece of the season, I wear it all the time.

The red is awesome too. I actually prefer to wear the red casually but I just picked up this off white suit that a black hawaiian floral shirt would compliment it better than red.

How do the shirts fit? Did you guys have to get them tailored at all?
It's a shirt so I don't know how much tailoring one would really need but I found these fit well off the rack as long as you know your proper size. Very lightweight with an interesting feel (it's silk crepe which feels different than most silks loomed for typical hawaiian shirts). Great piece with an great print just wish I would have copped BOTH the black and the red.

Any chance you guys could post a pic of the shirts y'all are talking about?

awesome shirt, but just couldn't get myself to drop $900 for it :(

I think for the money, the best quality/coolest items Saint Laurent offers are their jeans and (some of) their boots/shoes

I am considering these two similar shirts which are both in sale

http://www.farfetch.com/hk/shopping/men/saint-laurent-patterned-shirt-item-10588429.aspx?storeid=9336&ffref=lp_25_

Are the differences between silk and cotton, in terms of comfortability and appearance, worth that additional $150?

Appreciate for any recommendations.

Levine wore it better IMO

Damn, those are very very nice. Guess I just haven't seen them available for sale anywhere online.

I wouldn't want the shirts after seeing those pic's. Just get a vintage one from a flea market or something.

decent vintage hawaiian shirts cost more than the slp.

tried this route. Much easier said than actually done. Everything you find falls short. (Too big, 70s wide collar, not silk, fugly print).
