Yeah, that's what seemed so strange. That would have been some second-degree psychological foolery—not that I'd put it past Kering. I think it would look nice with the seam on the vamp, like in the show. Given the choice, however, I suppose I prefer no seams to the excessive stitching in the other pic. I still haven't had the chance to handle them though, which sounds like it makes a big difference with the Devons. They seem kind of love-or-hate.

@Niyengar I second this, though I really don't need a €1000-temptation. I already know I'm going to cave and grab the suede chains, but I wish they'd reissue them in calf instead.

Only have a couple pictures on-hand. I'll try and grab some in natural light when I get back home in the next few days. I'm excited to try these with my new light grey D02's. I also want to raw hem a pair with a slight crop (think 0.5" above the harness) to go with these boots.

Also @Isolar, I'm not sure if you know but Galeries Lafayette definitely had the calf, chain Wyatt in stock -- the silver chain. I'm not sure what sizes (not the Saint Laurent store within GL, but the department store itself)

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

If ya'll had to choose between the above and regular jodhs but you like both somewhat equally, which would you choose?

I went same sizing as harness Wyatts- I'm a 41 TTS, and I fit well in 40 Wyatts

Not really even a consideration to be honest. Regular ones are much nicer and more versatile

@Niyengar Boots look great, man! Nice score! Thanks for the tip. Do you know if they ship stuff within Europe? Maybe I should contact them, I'm looking for a 43.

@DHD28 Just to add another voice to the choir, regular for sure. Never been a huge fan of crocodile-embossed leather. It definitely distracts from the quality of the leather.

@cyc wid it Sounds killer! Any pics?

@Isolar If I was still in Paris I'd swing by and ask for ya, but I imagine it's worth checking out. The display pair looked somewhere between a 42.5 and a 44 by my eyeball estimate

@Niyengar I really appreciate the heads-up! I'll check it out. I wouldn't imagine they were by chance the first issue version, without the added seams? That's probably expecting too much lol.
