i had the sleeves of my L01 altered from near the zippers. The zippers were kept the same and everything. I think the tailor(does leather work) did good work, not the same as SLP though. Anyway i feel its so much more wearable now so i dont really care about the small stitching difference from the original. FYI I am 5'7 so i dont really get the look they show in pictures even if its a 44.

Had to get the Chelsea pair too because it is wholecut and I find Chelsea works better with casual fits than side zip. I still love both these twins the same though!

hey are these the nut suede? FW 16? I'm curious to see the actual color of 2016 version

On a related note, it may be better to consider simpler, sleeker jeans, so that they extenuate the leg not break it up. The skinny or slim low-waist jeans do this perfect from SLP. Very simple, clean cut.

Thank you very much for your input, as it was very helpful. I decided against getting this particular pair of jeans.

Are the sidezips the Sandro Dylan ones?

These are actually the lower 25 mm heel boots.

The side zip is this one

The chelsea is same as side zip but has the elastic gore

Haha, that's why I called them twins (fraternal). I highly romanticize the 2013 collections (if it wasn't obvious already).

If anyone needs something proxied from Italian retail price plus a small 20€ fee and shipping lemme know, already helped 3 people with some of the FW16 runway blazers. US prices looks more expensive than ever this season, and I'm happy to help.

Looks good. What was the problem to begin with? Were the sleeves too long?

Quick question.
I'm 5"8.5 /1.74cm.

YSL jeans come in 34" length.

Even if I get them hemmed won't the the thigh area be longer than my thigh? Won't the knee area start below my actual knee?

Hope that makes sense.

actually not really sure how it works but some jeans dont line on the knee but some do. The destroyed jeans in blue that was very popular didnt line on the knee but the current season used black single rip does. Size is the same for both. Also black knee rips were almost on the knee, cant complain. I am 5'7 171cm

Since you're 171 cm, I'm guessing you get all your ysl jeans hemmed right?
Isn't it an insane amount that you have to cut out? Last time I tried ysl jeans I figured I would have to cut out like 10cm...

I'm brand new to SLP and don't own a single item from the brand. How is the quality of the shoes, and other clothing items in general? I mainly buy brands from the classic menswear side (Vass, Carmina, etc), but I like how SLP stuff looks for streetwear.

Vass construction >>> SLP construction, but it's not like any of my SLP boots have fallen apart. Disclaimer: I topy + heel tap every pair immediately.
