I found the Breton boat neck tops a weird fit and they looked odd on me. They are definitely very slim to size too.
Looked at my Devon Derby shoes again this afternoon - I'm not sure this will apply to the boots as well, but the section at the back of the shoe by the heel counter is unlined, and the front half of the shoe is also unlined and you can feel the stitching against your foot. I presume this is to prevent them from being exceptionally long as pointed shoes often can be, and to help give them such a sleek and low profile. When I first saw them I thought there was no chance they'd fit me, but they do.
