^ cool!! Somehow the boots this season are crazy comfortable while maintaining sleekness. My French 60s are sleeker than my santiags but are softer are way more comfy as well...

Yeah, i agree. I am pretty surprised how comfy they actually are, these have been much easier to break in and wear for the first time than many of my other shoes.

I find them pretty easy to walk in as well, no need to tape my ankles up or anything lmao.

Looks awesome Prudy. You pull off the shirt so well.

The jacket is a little longer than I usually do (e.g., I crop them at the knuckles), however, it looks very good on you with that sort of drape/length.

@Prudythe fit you posted is dope, the confetti silk is one of my grails but i never found it in my size 37.i wanted to ask you, since i have bigger thighs compared to the rest of my body (i wear size 27 in SLP denim) due to running, would the 85 boots accentuate hips and thighs too much and look bad? I'm asking this since the SLP boutique here in Rome still didn't receive the fw15 boots :( thanks in advance. X

well, I'm a distance runner :). I worry about that too but if you think it looks ok here than you might like it as well. The mid rise definitely accent the hip/thigh region a bit more but honestly I feel like I could pull them down a bit too if needed - they aren't that different than the '13 D02. Might get some sag, though.

I think height might be more important - aka, the boots would suit a taller chap IMO w/ the mid rise because of proportions...

Friends, if I could ask your help. I recently got a pair of SLP shoes, and have noticed, after a few wears, that the leather on the soles are flaking off. Should I get a cobbler to add a protective sole, or is this normal?

A lot of people opt to get some protection on the soles but it's normal. I just let them get beat up I prefer it like that.

Got my red blk stripe sweater its very good, its not cropped and as tight as on the luisa model though :( pretty standard fit for me. But beaware guys if you have larger head you wont be able to fit thru it, i went true and my head is like average sized and barely got through...

I got the black/red striped sweater today as well but I'm returning it. Ordered a M which usually works but it's too big in the underarm/chest.

The sweater is cool though, thinking about exchanging for a S.

I do semi-pro swimming and because of the athletic body clothes fitting is also very awkward too..

This seasons mid waist has a bigger waist i went true and the legs are great but the waist i got at least 2 size large.. but of course i can't go down 2 or even 1 it won't go past my calves then..

And for button up shirt 37 fit me better less loose but i can't because the top button can't button up so have to get 38..

Cause we have wide neck and also the waist goes in like a hourglass so my waist is like a 26 and the legs are like 28..

Also because of broad shoulders i'm in between sizes for japanese wear, size 1 i can't wear cause shoulder is extremely narrow and size 2 is too large (loong and loose..)

/rant

but on the other hand i get compliments from girls saying they are jealous of my hourglass figure lol..

^^ lol, yeah - it's important to remember that within ranges everyone's body proportions are different and with clothing just .5 or 1cm can make a world of difference. Important to get things tailored if you want that type of accuracy from your fits.

I feel the same about the shirts - I too can wear a 37 and that would be ideal for tucking in/fitted look but couldn't get a top button/tie combo going, too tight. For jeans, I am curvy (lol) and am a runner so it's hard to find a good balance. I should probably look into some expert tailoring...

It gets pretty tiresome trying to find stuff that fits properly, luckily SLP fits me well for the most part but I do have to tailor things sometimes. The shirts are really weird though I take a 37 and they fit me fine on the shoulders and around the neck but they seem so baggy around the chest and waist, also the sleeves are slightly too long. Being so skinny is a blessing and a curse.

@therattler some pics w/ cropped stuff. I have muscular legs and I am shaped like a square so it's what it is...
