It only looks long because your jeans are on top of the boot like how girls wear them. Get some jeans that go over the top and they'll look fine.

Aha well I thought of showing the whole thing, and like I said my pants are too tight and need to get ones that will go over the shoes.

Wow, just tried my new fringed Hedi boots on, people weren't joking about the slimness of the ankle! no gap to be seen.

I can post pics when I get home if anyone is interested? I'm Keeping the fringes on, I saw people saying they cut them off which makes me sad :( I feel like I saved a pair from a boring fate.

Is 730USD a good price for a pair of FW14 Nut Suede Wyatts? Condition 8.5-9/10, vibrammed

Yes, would love to see the fringed boot pics!

I got the same boot coming from SSENSE - just ordered this morning.  I think I will leave the fringes on mine as well. I'm from Texas and already have a sophisticated urban cowboy vibe going on some of the time anyway so it's in my wheelhouse. And since I've worn boots for years people will know I am being authentic to myself.

I wanted the Jodhpur, now, but I have to wait for that to get in stock at Saks, if ever, so I can do them at 40% off.

I cut the fringes off mine, because I wanted them to be more versatile (and I can get away with them in the office now). If I had to go back and decide whether to cut off the fringes again, I still would.

I totally agree! Obviously people can do what they wish with their boots, but they just look so cool with the fringes. I ended up returning mine to get the SS16 Wyatts, but I still really like those boots.

I have 2 pairs of 100% cotton slp denim. Idk I truly like the 2% stretch. The cotton just feels super stiff and not comfy. Anybody got recommendation to loosen them up? Also did you guys take TTS in the cotton?

Sure I can understand that after all, they are yours to do as you choose, my thought was that these are quite quirky and unique in a world of bland boots and it seems a shame to alter them but who am I to make that call, the shape of the boot is really nice so I can see how you would want that.

Yeah I love the more oddball designs, I've got some silver santiags too so I'm a fan of the more novelty offerings, anyway here's some awkward shots:

And to show the narrow ankle:

It's an OK deal. For what it's worth, I got my Suede Wyatts brand new for $760 USD. You can get suede Wyatts during sales between $750-$850 if you know where to look, albeit they won't be FW14.

If they fit your feet, then they are good. They look great imo - just put your jeans over the top of them.

Was going to pick up a pair of stretch raws from DH when I stumbled across a barely worn pair of selvedge D01's from 2013. Can't wait to taper them and wear them!

I went to the Bond Street shop today - they said they're receiving the first delivery of F/W 16 this week

One of the Punk Project Tee's arrived.. Really like it.. Super soft and lightweight. The body of the shirt feels a bit thicker while the collar is micro ribbed. The font has a slight tint that pairs nicely with the flannels. A very nice change of pace from the awful distressed tee's of SS16.. terrible quality on those.
