Sometimes it is just not feasible to make 1:1 because the materials could hard to source or it could result in a very very expensive garment. Similar to when Rick for SS16 made outerwear with transparent leather but final version for sale was just a blend of various materials, he said it would be impossible to produce even a limited quantity of it. Gotta rememnber it's stil a business at the end of the day.

+1 @needhelp123.

The 'commercial' version was a riff off this one:

commercial version had no western yokes, standard teddy collar, and the music notes were only on the back. Same rhinestone music notes. They also had the same velvet + notes in a trucker jacket. Unfortunately, you can't compare the samples to production as they always a bit shorter + tighter in the showroom. Because the models vary so much in size, they'll sometimes pull outerwear from the women's line (did this a lot in AW15).

I know this question comes up very often, but here goes-

I have raw black D02s that I bought in Soho. The saleswoman told me to size down one (I got a 27 & I'm a 28 waist) because they will definitely stretch. Well, they haven't stretched much so they're still tight as hell in the waist and the thighs too. I can button, but sitting down for a long period of time pains me.

If I throw these in the wash with detergent and then wear them when wet, will I:

1) Screw them up

2) Stretch them in both the thigh and the waist & remove the sheen I don't care for (this I what I want to happen)

If the answer is #1, someone can have size unwashed size 27 D02s for really cheap. I'd dry clean them too.

@morningstar777 that overcoat is new cut for AW16, called the "1970s overcoat". Has a wider lapel that has more of a roll to it, rather than the sharp flat lapel SLP usually has. The cut has narrower shoulders and a longer fit overall. I don't remember that exact fabric, but looks like the usual lurex pinstripe Hedi uses.

Nothing really new in denim, all the show denim was the D01 mid rise 15cm that's been in the shows since AW15. D02 has a few more medium to dark blue washes that are nice and clean, reminiscent of DH washes. There's also an "updated biker" that's basically the 5 zip D02 with leather on the knees... just felt thrown together.

@jdemotion sorry to add to this barrage of questions. any insights on the shirts? as far as I can tell I want a pair of shoes, a waistcoat and some shirts if they're cool. thoughts?

@therattler lots of raw silk western shirts with piping (see look 77), which I personally thought looked awesome. There's the usual black + white patterned shirts in silk and viscose twill (stars, circles, playing card suits, cadillac print haha), and some b+w Python prints in silk. Pretty lackluster plaid assortment, mostly red or blue in buffalo check... would definitely pick up flannels from Surf Sound. There's the usual viscose twill western shirts in army, navy, black.

Jdemotion, thank you for all of the information. One thing I was interested in is whether the Derbies and the Chelseas will be offered in plain calf, and not just the lizard, python, etc.

Many thanks
