its funny cause i tried a couple times last week, when the stupid customer service chat function came up, to ask if they would get the jacket in. they always just said to check back to see if anything new had came in. they refused to be anymore specific. obviously, based on what you guys were saying, they knew but refused to confirm or couldn't be bothered to actually give me an answer (or ask someone in the buying department). no other online retailer had any problems letting me know what was up.

strange that harrods didn't get any in? what about barneys etc?

hopefully I can track one down through the boutiques.

THIS. This happens to me every time I ask them about an item, or if they'll be getting in anymore stock of something. Super frustrating.

Maybe in Australia we pay via Pounds so the MrPorter site is like the cheapest for me, i love their site layout and their packaging. Their service is also one of the best i have experienced, free international refunds/exchange, really fast and simple as well, i bought something that was shit and the courier came back within the hour.

Their drops are shit though, SSENSE is way better these days. And sometimes for bottoms they don't stock 44 which is my size. But other than that Porter is probably my favourite site to deal with.

best coat - one of those low key pieces that show that hedi is miles above anyone else out there. cara looks infinitely better than i do in it. makes me want to take the sleeves up just a touch to get that real cool feel.

Great coat, but really? worn like that? That's an insult. Just put up a hoodie if you need to get out of the house like that.

if garments draped that good on you and me, we wouldn't be talking about it on style forum. forget the rest. look at the coat.

Cara is so cool i love her

Who saw Lady Gaga few days ago in FW16 couture? Pretty cool. I love Lady Gaga also.

Some of the European girls that are lanky pull it off really well.

Look at the beautiful Anja Rubik

Does anyone know when does the AW16 stuff arrive in stores? Also, will the ready-to-wear be like the one from the runway or is it gonna be more wearable stuff because the fashion show looks seem very hard to pull off. Thanks.

I think AW for SLP usually starts shipping out mid-June/early July, so I guess I'd start checking then. Men's runway is almost exclusively RTW, although there are some of the couture/one off pieces that will either not make it to stores or make it in very limited amounts.

If you're worried about the wearable stuff, the permanent collection will still be around. I think when you see a lot of the stuff out of the context of the show it will seem a lot easier to pull off, too

@gustavobradley yea I know the permanent collection is still gonna stick around but its just that normally the shows still present RTW that is wearable like for ss16, the camo parka, moon jacket, jungle teddy, the t-rex teddy etc. but the latest show had stuff like ss15 swarovski bomber style teddy which not a lot people buy or at least I haven't seen them being so popular like the stuff from ss16.

A lot of the pieces that have a lot of work put into will not be made available. Final product for consumers may vary a little as well, depending on what kind of shortcuts they want to take (they being the shitty corporate).

About 90% of the runway outerwear wasn't in the showroom or line sheets, I'm not sure if the SLP boutiques had a chance to order those runway pieces but everyone else did not. There are more commercial version of pieces - such as a velvet teddy with music notes on the back. Footwear will be available (new last called the Devan), and they FINALLY cleaned up the suede offerings. For AW16 the suede colorways are: black, grey, cigar, and cafe (dark brown).

There's a new teddy that's a mix of the permanent collection one and the runway red teddy from AW14, has the same shirt collar but a cleaned up fit and good colorways. Personally I liked the showroom offering better than the runway, while a beautiful presentation I think everyone will appreciate the more commercial interpretations.

The label chains for AW16 are switching from silver to black *ominous*.

would ask how the music velvet jacket fitted but doesnt really mean a thing

what was the difference between runway and retail version of it?
