You're definitely not the only one liking the new harness placement. I feel like a lot of changes are made to accommodate more people and allow them to enjoy the products. Pants with a wider hem that covers more of the boot will likely still show the harness detail in its new location. I have also read the idea that new harness is more "anatomically" correct as it would be in this location if the harness was "functional" and wrapped around the sole. However, I think skinny jeans + new harness location just looks slightly off balance. Having the ring be in the centre of the shaft really just looks better, symmetrically speaking.

Yeah I was the one pointing out that it has more of a functional look but I agree it has its pros and cons. I just think the placement makes more sense and like you said, looks more visible. A larger ring too I think. Old placement definitely was in the middle and that's the main pro of it imo.

@Death24xASecond

So you can both attest to R&B fit 0 and fit 1 NOT losing their shape over time? (in particular the knee getting bagged out).

I tried some fit 1 the other day and they were very fitted, the leg opening seemed like it was even less than fw13 d02 cos I was struggling in the store to take them back off. One thing I didn't like is how thin the cotton felt but I guess that was the style of the jean.

I'm going to give an old pair of dior 17.5cm cut black sandblast effect jeans to my preferred tailor and tell them to match the cut and width of my fw13 black distressed jeans... hope it works out, the knees are bagged out as fuck and look terrible imo.

Anyone know where I can find a pair of Nut Suede Wyatts in a 41? I have a feeling that I'm SOL for now, especially after finding out the pair on eBay has already been sold. Hopefully a pair pops up soon.

If you're in Europe, ysl.com has them in 41 (and every other size)

I have two RB Fit 0s and wear them a lot--definitely more than I wore the SLP D02--and so far neither has baggy knees. They stretch a bit but I'd say just enough to get comfortable and "worn in." I'm pretty skinny however. You would probably work better with Fit 1. Yeah these are very fitted and the cotton is thin but I actually like that because it's easier to wear year-round.

those look really good, will buy.

thank you.

looks good to me.post a side shot...that's how i wear my jeans  tho, except im 5'9" and 175" so i'm jacked and cut. (gym for 7-8) years and got large thighs/calves so i cannot absolutely wear skinny jeans, only slim cut...or size up on skinny by 1-2 but the waist might look bad, eh who knows.

Kind of depends. Kamakura Tokyo Slim fits me off the rack perfectly, but they have four fits and a recently-introduced MTM option. Check the big Kamakura thread on SF. I prefer Kamakura shirts because I find them better constructed than Brooks Brothers at almost identical price points. They also wear in really nicely.

They have ripped, solid black, and grey on ssense.

I happily have all 3 and want more... As of now I like them more than slp I have to say

I'll pick up the grey some time soon. Haven't liked the hue/tone of the wash from online pictures but maybe it looks better in person. I don't do ripped clothing but I really hope they bring out a waxed version--would be perfect.

enough with the heresy.

it's funny that everyone is all over nut suede wyatts. it wasn't long ago that everyone was complaining how shit they were compared to ochre ones, which nobody cared for when released.

w/r/t washing d02s. sure they might last a little longer, but they immediately lose that sheen and depth of black that sets em apart. best get the smallest size you can squeeze into, get em altered in-store to be perfect, then wear the fuck out of em. once washed they're no different really from any other pair of skinny black jeans. except for the brass rivets totally under appreciated.

i have a beater pair, my original aw 13s, that i've washed a million times, and have had repaired cause of crotch blow out. they look and fit awesome. but are incomparable to a fresh pair.

has anyone seen the jungle teddy available online? i kinda regret not getting one.

damn, those must have just went up, I don't think they were there yesterday.

Really tempting....

Interesting, last time I checked it said "Product unavailable", so they must have gone up recently. I'll have to think on it. My Hedi Chelseas should be in today so I may have to pull the trigger if the feel is right. Thanks!

What's the point in asking then?

Hate these window shoppers who just request shite for the sake of it.
Then bottle it when they see it's available.
