I have the white lows and really like them. Gonna get the black lows as well. I like that they are totally simple, sleek and have close to no branding. Leather is soft and buttery as well. Much better quality than CP and doesn't have that hideous number brand on the side. Quality is probably same as Dior but I never got into the trainer look on diors.

or you can wait til 2014 for the stan smiths to come back lol

+1 and I also want the black too, mind telling us, Zeogo, where you can buy them at 40% off? :p

Probably Matches.. That's where I got my white lows ($330 after shipping and duties). Last night they only had high tops available in a few sizes but probably sold out now that the sale went live. The good thing about these is that they are part of the permanent collection and will always be in stock and many retailers will have them on sale. the FW ones are really cool too (white with black stripes and black with red stripe).

Details at LVR

Does any one who has the black lows find they go with a lot of stuff? I mostly wear mid wash jeans and blues, and I feel like black sneakers might clash with that. Probably a silly question to ask what sort of stuff black sneakers go with but I hope you can see what I mean?

Also, is it possible to fiddle with the laces to get the tongue to stick out in front of jeans (making the logo more obvious)?

Imo black sneakers will look better with dark denim, and for the tongue, its wont look very good with if you try to stick it out too hard haha. It would look better with skinny or narrow jeans, a bit like sirGrotius wears em! good luck

I wouldn't say they are better quality than CP (though it varies depending on model). Price aside the profile/angles don't really flatter them, they look somewhat awkward imo. But to each their own I guess.

I prefer the slp sole and sides I think, but the cp toe cap is muuuuuuch better looking imo!

studdeds are wack and pointless imo.
regarding cp vs slp, I should have waited a bit before I said anything. cp's, achilles and vintage in particular, are really solid shoes, but they didn't last me that long (and i've gone through maybe 5 or 6 pairs). I would get little tears in the leather and suede often and the padding would flatten out in no time. The same goes for balenciaga, rafs, etc, although depending on the ones you get (multi material balenciagas are heavy duty). They should be though, they are not a light sneaker. slp's on the other hand are super light, featherweight, and thin as **** but with a nice amount of padding on parts of the shoe. the perfect summer shoe. I don't know how long they will last though, I just rotated my shoes and they are the flimsiest. But I still like them the most.

Quick question -- if I'm a Medium/15.5 in US sizing, what size Saint Laurent shirt do I buy? I'm having a ridiculous lapse of memory and the size guide on the site isn't working.

I'd say stay true to size or size up one if you're unsure. the cuts are a little boxy and meant to hang/fit loose, and i've heard the cotton used is prone to shrink a little.

So I'm a 39. Can't I just get a 40? There are so many shirts that I want to buy, but none are 39's. Apparently they don't accept returns on sale items.

I have both the black and white high tops and find that both pretty much go with anything, except for maybe the black with blue jeans. And concerning the tongue, it's certainly possible to stick the tongue out, but it's gonna look like you are trying way to hard to let people know how much money you spent on your shoes, and won't look very good, regardless of the logo. Personally, I tie my highs all the way up, and have about half of the 'neck' of the highs under my jeans. Stay classy!
