Any opinions on this:

I always wanted a brown casual sportcoat.

Okay, what in the world is up with J. Crew prices these days? They're now selling Baracuta G-9s for $390. This is at least $100, maybe more, than what I paid for one from J. Crew 4 years ago. I realize that Baracuta's prices have gone up in general, but you can find them on certain men's sites for around $300.

Is anyone able to compare the sizing on the Ludlow Dress shirts vs the Thomas Mason Slim Dress shirts? I know the Ludlow has a trim cut but I'm not sure how the two compare. I own a size small Ludlow shirt which fits well in the shoulders but is slightly loose in the chest and arms.

Picked up two short sleeve henleys for 15 each the other day. Quality feels pretty decent and they are really comfy and great for hot weather.
More interesting than a tshirt too.

An SA told me jcrew stores do sales based on whats selling vs not, so you might be able to find an item you really want on clearance and see the same item in another store still at full price. All items online that are in sale will be discounted if you show them via your phone plus the additional 15 if youre a student/teacher (say you forgot your id, theyll give it to you anyway)

-I've noticed, too, that if you see something in the sale section online which is not on sale in a J. Crew storefront, the SA will typically offer you the online sale price for that particular item, and sometimes give you a 'final sale price' (in which case the item would not be able to be returned). This enables you to often track down items you want which are not available in the sale section online but stores still have. I have gotten numerous items this way at low pricing.

My J. Crew's deals from the last month or so:

If you search often, you can find great deals I think.

Good stuff, might have to swing by a Jcrew this weekend.

Just picked up a pair of MacAlister boots on sale for $45 (about $100 less than the original price). I've only had them for a week, but I actually think they're better than Clark's desert boots.

They're on sale online with an additional 50% off if anyone's interested.  Might actually buy a second pair.

This is a really good deal on a staple piece.

Light blue OCBD. It should be around $20 with current promotion code "HOTOUT" and sizes are still available.

https://www.jcrew.com/browse/single_product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441824983&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302028624&nav_type=SALESITE&bmUID=krHuvTB

I ordered it instore with student discount. It was like $13 taxed.
