This blazer looks quite nice and doesn't appear when you go through the website. I had it in my cart from a while back. http://www.jcrew.com/browse/single_product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441835206&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302028624&nav_type=SALESITE&bmUID=ke1rldL. Its 299 and additional 50% in stores so call your local store and have them order it for you for $150.

managed to get my hands on a Ludlow shirt after all the hype from jcrew.com

wow seriously overrated and overpriced to me, quality feels like uniqlo but at 5 times the price with better cutting that's all.

WTF buys "popover" shirts. Get rid of that crap.

Popover shirts were something of an Ivy League piece in the 60s. I'm not surprised J. Crew has picked up on them. I think they're kind of cool.

Which is warmer, the Skiff Jacket or the blanket lined jacket??

Does anyone know if the Crew puts out these Garment-Dyed Jeans in different colors for the SS? Turns out I don't wear shorts and might end up getting some more of these, instead.

I know they had a greyish color before but I'm not sure if they're going to come out with it again.

I'm sitting in my office now with a

Ludlow houndstooth suit
This Ludlow shirt:
https://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/shirts/ludlowdressshirts/PRDOVR~99439/99439.jsp

A black knit tie from RL Purple Label and black Alden 9016.

By far my most complimented work get up. And all bought pretty cheaply too (except for the Aldens).

The ludlow shirt is relatively cheap quality wise, but it cost $40 and the fine stripe pattern is good. I about three Ludlow shirts and like them all. The fit in L works well for me.

Like everything, YMMV

They were? I don't remember them. Not saying that you're wrong, I just don't remember them. Every time I see one I think of a Nightshirt.
