I know some of it is in the stores and should show up this week. Not sure when the website will update.

Thanks. I just found a promo code from a catalog from a previous purchase. Pulled the trigger on the non-Thinsulate dried olive Dock pea coat in M. Hope the sizing works out.

Nice I grabbed the same jacket in a large for $90 on sale. Have got compliments on it every day I've worn it

Where did you find that coat for $90 on sale? (In store?)

It was around 140 on sale and I was able to take another 40% off with the code

^Good stuff: how does the large fit? I had the old Bayswater one that I got on a good sale, but later determined the large was too dress- like, despite being taller than average.

Is there a huge difference with J crew vs J crew factory? I went to an outlet in Tampa bay and picked up two shirts, same fit etc.. Will it fall apart after a few washes?

I've found the quality of the fabrics to be less than that of the mainline. That said, I have a few factory items and have held up the same.

It depends on the item IMO. The shirts at Factory are great. Some sweaters are great. The pants? Depends on what you get. Tshirts are good.

I should be ok with the button down's then. I haven't washed them yet as I just got back from vacation and I've been working.

Thanks.

I'm 5'11 and usually cant fit into Mediums due to my broad shoulders, the large fits nice but has a little more room in the waist area than i'd like

Yes. I feel like there is in fact a pretty big difference. In a lot of instances, it's in the details. Kinds of buttons (mother of pearl versus plastic), how a shirt collar is constructed, type of stitching, etc. If you don't care or pay attention to these things, then factory will be fine for you. But for me, details like this make all the difference between just having something that's functional and having something that you can take a little pride in and enjoy wearing.
