I see what you're saying, but I found the length of it too long too, and because I have a small frame already, it feels a little like if I'm drowning in it. I'm happy if it works out for other people, cause it's good value right now.

I can see that. Their sizing is not entirely consistent. Some mediums fit me very snug, others have a lot more room.

Oh, well...

Penfield, Battenwear, and (I believe) Beams + have the same fleece (which J. Crew ripped off), if you're into it.

I could be missing something but those supposed original versions look like sacks.

Blew nearly two Benjamins on Jcrew basics. Loving this sale.

Would have loved to get my hands on the Dock peacoat in 'Dried Olive.' Too bad they don't have my size left. frown.gif

Try calling the 800 number to place an order. They can check if its in stock across all their stores, and ship it to you if it is. They've been able to find a couple items for me that way.

The SA will ask you to swipe your card. Will be credited to either your credit or debit card.

Seriously? The sweater lasted about two weeks before this happened.

As Spring 2014 items hit the website, it's time to revisit a thread name change again

Thanks.

I called the 800 #, unfortunately they are completely out of my size.

You get in a bar fight?

Yay. Summit Fleece Track Jacket in heather fawn or whatever (brown) arrived yesterday. Fits great in my usual medium, and fairly warm, even though it's thinnish. The marketing nugget is right--I'll probably live in this for a while.

j crews fits are so inconsistent that the extent that i like the brand now is just to look at their visual merchandising talent.  i have a ludlow suit that fits relatively nicely, but other then that, most fits seem bulky or slim in odd parts of a cut.

Agreed. Whenever I end up buying something from the website I know there is a high probability of returning it, due to the randomness of the fit. I have no idea how they get away with that, as a catalogue based company.
