Wait how can you get 30% off from new jcrew card. It says 10% off first transaction, not 30 when I looked.

It was a promotion from earlier this month.

40% off final sale in store.

Managed to buy a Liberty floral tie for $6 (from $75) and a glen-plaid 100% wool pocket square for $10.

Website is buggy.

I filtered for a 36s and it says that it is available, but only 40+ are in stock. WTF

I just ordered the Irish linen thin stripe shirt in medium regular fit.  I was wondering how trim the regular fit is in the J. Crew current collection.  Is it billowy and baggy like a cheap dress shirt?  I'm in between a 38 and 40 chest and a little on the slim side so I'm wondering if I should have not ordered the regular fit( it wasn't available in slim medium).  How big a difference is there between the slim fit and regular fit?

Just wondering what to expect when the shirt arrives.  Slim fit in medium wasn't available and I'm wondering whether I should be expecting a billowy tent.

I've found it varies by the shirt. Some regulars fit like a slim, and others are pretty big. My experience with the irish linen shirts is they tend to be on the bigger side (at least the ones i bought and returned last year).

Thanks for the reply.  I guess I just have to wait and see what the fits like when it gets finally here.  If its too baggy I'll just return it and wait for medium to be restocked in slim.

I was also wondering what other forum goers though about the white secret wash point collar shirt? Which fit would you recommend?  And are they really as soft/comfy as the description claims?

I was looking forward to this rust-colored jacket from the J Crew Fall/Winter 2013 show, and was surprised to find it's already available (I'm pretty sure it's the same one?).

Don't Fall/Winter items usually show up until late August or early September?

Here it is on the website. Thoughts?

I had been eyeing that jacket too.  One of the few items from J Crew I'd consider buying at full price.

I had no idea what you guys were talking about until I noticed the model was wearing the jacket under a jacket.

the color on the jacket is not my cup of tea but different strokes for different folks...

Why is there such a dramatic difference in fit between the navy and olive versions of this jacket? Either they're using pins or he's wearing a size larger.
