ok so here's the deal...I had to APPLY to get the privilege to invite people. So I told them I plan on inviting some incredibly stylish gentlemen from styleforum.net and that it'd be worth it having you lot around. Let's see if it goes through

I have an account over there, used to post in the WAYWT and around, but they made me take the forum link out of my sig (even though people can have blog links or anything else basically), and I felt like it was kind of a waste of my time to post answers for people if I can't get anything at all back from it. If the point of the forum is to have "industry people", it's kind of lame that they make me keep my "connection to the industry" secret... IMO, whatever.

The street style threads are sometimes interesting, and they have cute girls, so I still pop buy once in a while anyway.

I have had 2 accounts on that site. The first one, I forgot the password to, and the email it was linked to became defunct, so... you'll see some random posts from me from about 2002/2003 about mens collections or something. I have a more recent account, but have also forgotten the password, and maybe the username (not sure if I used my usual), but I'll have to retrieve it sometime and get over there to see what's going on these days. "Industry Insiders?" There are some, but it's not as exclusive as they like to let on...

Hmmm, my profile had a registration link for referring people. I gave it to some members here, we'll see if it works. I've never tried it before so I have no idea...

The story I heard was that so many teenage girls were signing on and mucking up the place with "oh that's so cute" posts that they closed registration in an effort to get quality posters...

Unfortunately they forgot to kick them out when they closed up.

I've never understood the attraction to the place.

Their site is confusing imo, and they do need to get rid of all the teenage girls asking what shoes they should get for their prom dress...
