The navy one is actually quite OK without much alteration.

But please don't wear that jacket alone with jeans. Wear the whole suit but wear a OCBD instead to dress it down.

Thanks for the reply. That's definitely the plan!

Would you pass on a white linen pocket square as well?

Out of curiosity, is the other suit incredibly bad?

Yes, forego the PC since you want to dress it down to fit in with the crowd.

As for the other suit...No, it was not that bad. In other words, you don't have to burn it.

I suggest taking pictures of front, side, and back with dress shoes on for better assessment by the SF community.
