Let's make this an ongoing thread. Organize your tie rack/drawer as you like it, and post (preferably high-resolution) macro photography here. It would be interesting to see everyone else's selection, and organizing method.

Do you ever untie the knots? Notice any damage to the ties if they've been tied for long periods of time?

Of course, how would I wear them then?

Wools keep pretty well. It's the extra crispy silk twills that can get bent out of shape/wrinkled over time. The soft silk prints keep pretty wrinkle free too.
