Here's the majority of my collection. Grenadines are hung elsewhere so they don't snag on the wood dividers (which I built myself).

Nice collection. But I second the thought that it's best to hang ties or lay them flat

My ghetto set up. Not included are three knit ties rolled up in a drawer and six bow ties, all PRL or BB. Most are inherited from my uncle and grandfather or thrifted.
L-R
PRL, Paul Stuart, RLPL, Faconnable, Drakes for Ben Silver, Kiton, BB, RLPL, J. McLaughlin, Charles Tyrwhitt

Awesome. Better range of colors than in my collection. Mine tend to be black, gray, brown, blue, green, or red

Thanks for the word of caution. I haven't noticed an issue yet, but I'll have to keep an eye on that.

No way I'm exposing my silk to all you voyeurs.

Plus I only own 15 at the moment due to a recent re-ordering of my universe.

Missing about ten ties that I like. A friend had a job interview, so I lent him a healthy selection (he got the job, so I gave him the tie he wore, a navy Brooks Brothers 346); I've not had the opportunity to get them back yet.

The bottom right is my "trash pile," gifts or eBay mistakes. They get a home in my utility room.

1st: Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers, Thomas Pink, Thomas Pink, Banana Republic, Hugo Boss
2nd: Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers 346, Thomas Pink, Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers, Ferragamo
3rd: Dunhill, Hugo Boss, Banana Republic, Fendi, Ferragamo, Thomas Pink
4th: Thomas Pink, Brooks Brothers 346, Banana Republic, Thomas Pink, Thomas Pink, TRASH!
5th: Brooks Brothers, Kiton, Hugo Boss, ???, Brooks Brothers
6th: Brooks Brothers, Thomas Pink, Turnbull & Asser, Banana Republic, Banana Republic
7th: Hugo Boss, Fendi, Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss, Thomas Pink

Also not pictured are my knit square ends (they didn't roll up) and my not quite trash ties (they don't get piled up, but they are hanging and aren't rolled up).

I feel that was an hour well spent :) .

EDIT: I was just informed I spent closer to two hours doing that. Also, I was rushed or I would've taken 3 additional pictures of ties to fill in the space.

EDIT #2: JRD. Your collection makes me want to be a better man.

Probably better asked in the ask a question thread, but you guys might be more knowledgable.

I always thought rolling your ties was the best way to store them. Clearly I am mistaken. What sorts of ties should be stored rolled, hanging, etc?

i hang all my ties, personally. i imagine, laid flat, like the vox collection, is truly the best/most optimal way to store ones ties. however, i dont think its practical for most people.
