I went to the Landisun web site, and none of the ties on the Landisun site match any of the ties sold by Lorenzo Cana or Paul Malone. The same tie that sells on ebay for $450 sells on Amazon.com for $25. While a the same $250 tie on Amazon.com is sold by the same seller on eBay for $95. Purchasers complain the labels on these neckties don't mention their country of manufacture or the material they are made from. I came here trying to figure-out who really manufactures these ties. Now, I will do a reverse image Google search. Maybe, this will help me. The whole situation here is very strange. I wrote the company asking who they are, and asked to buy their ties wholesale, but I got no response. This is all very strange.
Anyone know anything about Paul Malone or Lorenzo Cana neckties? - Page 2
I have the same doubts..It seems to me that Lorenzo Cana, Paul Malone and "Louis Binder de Luxe" (PREMIUMLUXUS1001 Ebay seller) are only different 'brands' for the same chinese factory. 'Landisun' ties have different patterns, but I will be not surprised if they are all the same chinese factory behind the "brands".
At 'Louis Bínder de Luxe' site, its very clear: ties are not made of silk, but "Polyester Microfaser" (sintetic) as you can see below:
In fact, several other companys in EUA sell chinese ties (Calvin Klein, Nautica, Tommy..). And I doubt they are made of pure silk, even the tags say so....
Last year, I bought some Lorenzo Cana ties and I´m very satisfied. They are cheap (USD 15,00 , auctions) and they look nice.
By the other hand, I bought a Louis Vuitton tie in Paris for USD 200,00. Not so beautiful, to be honest.
We need to be realistic: there´s no reason for such difference, even though Louis Vuitton ties are made of pure silk...
The same applies to other brands like Tom Ford (USD 200) and Brioni (USD 230).
Their ties are really beautiful, but are they worth it ??
I bought a Lorenzo Cana tie around 6 years ago. I paid around $30 for a paisley tie. The quality is really good (I have ties of all sorts of companies, like Hermès, etc., and I can say that their quality is really impressive). My advice is: don't buy any of them for more than $60 dollars, I don't really think they worth $100 dollars as some people have said. And be really careful with their patterns, because even with good quality, it's hard to find a Cana tie with a classic style and of good taste; and without a good style, it does't matter if you tie shines Italian silk, you're gonna look like wearing a $1 tie.
