Anyone know anything about Paul Malone or Lorenzo Cana neckties?

I particularly like this one from Paul Malone: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Necktie-Paul-Malone-Tie-Cufflinks/dp/B003ZFZJZS/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1348850647&sr=8-8

This one from Lorenzo Cana: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LORENZO-CANA-Jacquard-Italian-Handmade/dp/B004PBPXQG/ref=sr_1_1?s=clothing&ie=UTF8&qid=1348851147&sr=1-1

I really like the Lorenzo Cana one, but it is very expensive and you only get a tie... (no hanky or cufflinks)

I find it odd that there are so few reviews for these ties (albeit all of them are positive, but still...) considering Paul Malone for example has thousands of different ties...

Any thoughts?

I think if someone were to respond it would be to say that you should avoid purchasing ties that come with matching pocket squares.

Sorry for being a fool... (and for being 15), but why?  Isn't it a great thing to have a matching hanky?

You are not a fool. Use the search function here. Check out the pocket square thread and the pocket square fail thread. Squares should not match but complement what you are wearing.

Read. Learn. There are many better tie makers than the two you have asked about. There are far better ties for sale in the Men's Clothing Classified thread.

Oh, after some research turns out it is a bad idea to wear matching pocket square + tie.  Okay, thanks for the tip.

What if I bought just the tie (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00448NO20/ref=s9_simh_gw_p193_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=15CQ0PRST4EWFB5QV2RP&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=317828027&pf_rd_i=468294)?

My personal experience with Lorenzo Cana Ties is that every time I wear one of them people simply look at me. Compliments for the beauty of the ties are extremely common, as well as questions about them. Lorenzo Cana Ties are attention getter, simply stated they are eye-candy! The quality of the Ties are AAA+++ , the exclusive patterns, the colors and the service they give is top of the line (I buy them directly).

When I see ties costing $300 plus that do not look as good as a Lorenzo Cana Tie I just laugh at them.

As for matching square, I believe that style is a very personal matter and everyone style should be respected as a personal expression of the individual.

Please don't buy the Lorenze Cana ties. The less people bidding on those things the better. biggrin.gif
