Cocktail bars in San Francisco

I'm in SF this weekend for a wedding and am staying at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero. Any recommended cocktail bars close by that I should hit? Also any good local breakfast spots near the hotel? Would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

I also have a brief open window on Saturday (9/29) till mid-afternoon. Anything interesting going on locally on Saturday (festivals, events, etc.)?

There's a very nice cocktail bar right in the Hyatt.

There are several places for breakfast in the Ferry Building.

Farmers' Market in the Ferry Building Saturdays.

If you want to walk around a bit, Rickhouse on Kearny and Bush is a good cocktail bar; Local Edition on Market and 3rd, another one.

Now, now, that seems harsh.

 

The Ferry Building is a wonderful part of old SanFrancisco and on Saturdays is brimming with delicious organic food from all over the Bay area!

The vendors are super friendly and really committed to serving great food!

The lineups at the various stalls are great fun where you can chat with all kinds of interesting people and fellow foodies!

Don't forget to get their yummy suggestions and make sure to check in on foursquare at the line to Blue Bottle!
