what's your one favorite thing to eat?

It can be an appetizer, main dish, dessert, or whatever.

I'd have to say that my pick would be bruschetta. It's got everything: fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, olive oil, salt & pepper, and good bread. If everything is fresh, the basic ingredients stand on their own.

I love biting in, tasting the tomatoes, the basil, the saltiness, and finally the little bit of bite from the freshly ground pepper. I can't imagine a more perfect combination of ingredients.

I just ate it, in case you can't tell.

I love what I guess is "whole bruschetta" - bread, a basil leaf, some mozzarella, fresh tomato slice, and olive oil. But that's not my favorite.

My favorite ever is an adobada taco from a now-closed restaurant, with green salsa, fresh pico de gallo, lots of lime juice and sea salt. If I ever need to make my mouth water, I can just think of the taste of this.

I guess if you judge by the one constant thing I like to munch on over the years- it would be potato chips. Good potato chips, preferably kettle cooked ones: salted, or black pepper, or salt & vinegar. Best with beer.

Pho, with lots of herbs and all the fixings. It warms your body and your soul.

Pie floater... seasoned beef in a flakey pie shell, sauce on top, suspended in a bowl of pea soup.

What is pirate's booty?

I've never had potato pancakes, I think... my stomach pretty much agrees with any type of cake that is made in a frying pan.

I make this popcorn I call "Fat Bastard Popcorn". It's regular buttered popcorn with layers of garlic salt and cheese melted into it. When you pick it up, it sticks together in these gooey cheese clumps. It's absolutely wonderful.

I would say toro, but there are lots of things I enjoy.

I like the modified bruschetta that adds fresh mozzerella. I'm very fond of fresh mozzerella (preferably buffalo) and fresh tomatoes, so the combo is great.
