What do you think about Salvatore Ferragamo?

No Ferragamo shoe offered at department store full retail is worth the price. (Perhaps excluding the Tramezza line.)

On sale at 30% off or more, the cost/value proposition starts to work.

They won't go on sale. If you like Ferragamo's you'll have to look hard for sales and make sure they're from the main line. Some people have gotten great prices on Tramezzas but like Gdot said, maybe if you could find them for at 100-200 dollars off then it's worth it, just not worth spending extra when you could just buy AE's.

The OP's link is to a rubber soled, non Tramezza line shoe.

Given the price, I would presume they are from the LO line.

Should be able to find plenty of LO line either on sale or on fleabay. Whether or not you will find a double monk, who knows.

doubt those will go on sale

then go buy some carmina double monks from the armoury for about the same price, you will get a far better shoe. and this coming from a guy who likes ferragamo more than most around here.

Surely you are not referring to Tramezza here.

I like Ferragamos but not a big fan of those shoes in particular. If you want them get em.Ferragamos are great shoes!

As for those talking about AE's.....they are nice shoes(strands and McAllister) but you could definetly catch them on sale.Nordstrom anniversary save had them for $215 and they retail at $335.Im not a big fan of American made shoes tho.
