The weird thing is that is a direct-to-outlet tag. Stuff from frontline NM doesn't say "compared to" and usually the price is in ink.

Obviously, it's facepalm worthy and a mystery how that thing ended up that way, but overall I'm very suspicious of Last Call and Off Saks tags. Even assuming "tag switching" and manipulation aren't done on purpose, I've seen many tags and prices that were completely wrong or put on the wrong jacket. Unfortunately, some of those end up here in the sales forums.

What amazes me is that somebody who works for NM, somewhere between when it got to the warehouse and when it ended up on the shelf, wouldn't do a bit of investigating to see where/why/how this thing got there. Obviously, no Last Call shopper is going to be buying a no-sized $14k jacket.

most likely. i have noticed some of that at my NMLC with shirts also. pretty sure that is what i was told. though i am not convinced kiton does financing lol. not sure how they end up holding the bag on a finished garment like that.

regarding the first part, i personally havent noticed that, but i guess it would not entirely surprise me.

as to the second part, based on the general impression i have gotten from department stores warehouse staff, is it really that surprising that no one care enough to investigate it? i think its a minor miracle it made it all the way to LC, and wasnt lifted. and if that was my size, and i had the dough, id kop if it was indeed a K50 or a vicuna or something. i try on all the no size stuff that looks like it might fit me.

Wow. That is some wild stuff. I bet you could take it the sales counter or the manager and they would mark it down to a more appropriate price. Like 10 K.
