VR, I don't know much myself technical details of shoes construction. But am quite confident that he will be able to do any construction in the world. I emailed him a pic of St Crispins Crocodile Derbys he said he can do exactly the same shoe for me. He seems to be a true artisan, just ask him or better send him the picture of the 'thing' you like him to do for you

PS - am waiting for my Lobbs to sell so I can place my first order with him musicboohoo[1].gif

PS 2 - what shoe do you have in mind?

Absolutely beautiful.  Out of curiosity how is the transaction experience?  Any trouble getting payment to him and such?  It seems as though out of country stuff like Meermin and Carmina can sometimes be a hassle so wanted to compare.  Did you provide the style or did he provide some sort of look book?  Has anyone asked about doing crocodile?

The price discounted 3200( N°6-7-8-) 3400 (8-9-10-11)-3500 (12-13)

This is a full grain cocco-central,the most expensive cut.

*sigh, still really steep.  I don't doubt that it is worth it, just a lot to stomach.

Yeah, while croc is fantastic to look at, it's not as wearable as calf or suede

Styling I think, a bit flashy for business occasions typically so you can only wear them after work or on weekends.
