Comparable to Bonafe (high instep)? Low instep? Something in between?

Thanks.

I have a pair in the hawksbill last, and the general consensus is that you need to size up by half for Antonio's RTW stuff.
I did the same and found the fit to be relatively good.
His lasts are fairly narrow with an average to low instep.
As a reference, I wear:
EB 946, 74945 in 8.5
EB 804 in 8
Majority of carmina lasts in 8.5 except Simpson in 9
I took the hawksbill in 9.
The sizing guide on his website is also fairly accurate and easy to follow.

Hi gents. I was able to visit Antonio in his workshop. I picked couple of orders for myself and my brother. Antonio is as nice in real life as you would expect from dealing with him. Wanted to share some pic. Still travel king so quality is so so

yea. I happened to visit Antonio's workshop a couple of days ago and happened to see the seamless wholecut croc in person. I was absolutely awestruck by its beauty. Antonio is truly polite and nice, a fantastic gentleman to deal with. You can easily tell that he is really passionate about shoemaking upon meeting him. Also, i am most likely going to get a similar seamless wholecut in croc leather and one in Calf leather. Hope you dont mind @sd2002

I'm probably in the area later this year, would love to visit him but he is not responding to emails. Are you guys emailing the email address on the website or the one in his Insta?

Well in a way it is all thank to you smile.gif. You are the one who recommended Antonio 3 years ago I think and told me about seamless wholecut. I got my calf from Antonio then and this is my second seamless. I imagine there will couple more of "seamless"

Of course not smile.gif
Did you see the croc seamless boot? Amazing, I am just glad I live in warm climate where I can't justify spending that kind of money (not that the seamless croc was any kind of "wise " decision, but hey we all have our vices. I don't gamble ... well except in vegas, don't drink.... except ..... well maybe I have more than one vice tongue.gif

Unfortunately, Antonio forgot to show me the seamless croc boots as we were discussing various shoe styles and sizes. However, i saw the seamless croc shoes he made for you and i have to say that the pictures you have uploaded of them do no justice to their beauty and craftsmanship ( I do not mean to offend your ability to take pictures). Further, as i am always wearing sportcoats, jackets and suits, i am a little concerned about pairing croc shoes with them(i tend to play alot with patterns and textures, but i have never worn shoes with such bold texture or pattern). I would like your perspective on the same.I hear you buddy, but hey the vices keep you going  :D.

No offense about the pic, my pic generally not good but these were particularly poor since they were done hastily while packing . Once I am back home will try and post better better pic.

Great! Looking forward to seeing some lovely pictures of them. In the meantime, could you tell me what you plan on wearing them with as im a little concerned as to what to pair them with. As mentioned in my previous post, i tend to wear alot of sportcoats with windowpane checks and gunclub checks paired with patterned ties. Hence, im a bit concerned now if i should get seamless croc shoes or just go with several different seamless calf skin shoe. Any advise would be much appreciated.
