I'll follow up next week with my impressions.

What are your EG/G&G sizes compared to some other brands and lasts?

I find the smaller sizes scale differently than with typical UK sizes. For instance I'm a 6UK/7US wide in most makers. Antonio moved me down to a 5.5 on his lasts.

That is interesting, since Antonio recommends wearing the same size as EG/G&G, and Skoab seems to recommend sizing up 0.5 for those brands..

Best advice would be to just do a paper tracing of your foot and ask Antonio your size.

Antonio let me know I was mistaken on this.

My first shoe was made on a Kiton last thus the size down. My following shoes were a 6UK base.

I wear a 6UK in Carmina, EG and G&G on all the wider lasts. I wear a 6.5UK in St. Crispins or a 6UK in a wide fitting.

Edit: Alden Barrie 6.5E or 7D. Park 7E.

This is a full size down from my 7US size.

CJ 341: UK 9,5
GG DG70: UK 10
GG MH71: UK 10
JL7000: UK 9
AS 99: UK 10 (a bit roomy)

I'm very much looking forward to your contributions here, as I've been enjoying your Instagram account for quite some time. smile.gif

Welcome! And thanks for the info. I'm surprised that you go up a full size from JL to GG, actually!

Unfortunately I don't own or even tried on a pair of Carmina so I'm not able to give you a proper advice there.
However my personal experience is that they are true to size compared to most of the Brits so if you size up/down compared to them for Carmina I'd suggest you do the same for Antonio.

@Emospence Nevermind my reply, realized later that the question was not for me.

Still useful advice, thanks!

You mean Antonio runs true to size, correct?

I wear Rain, Inca, Oscar and Soller.

For narrower lasts like Acludia and Forest I size up half a size to 6.5UK. If I can get an extra wide forrest I stay with 6UK.

All my shoes from Antonio are 6UK, either with a slightly modified last to accommodate my wide foot or perhaps just a standard wide last.

If it helps I can try take a picture of one of my Carminas and Antonio's shoes side by side, but I am not sure it would show you much.
