understood. but still seems like a good value. pretty sure it would fit at least as well as rtw bought over the internet.

i spoke to antonio
a few days before
he left for vacation
to finalise some details
of my next order:
(aurum adelaide romulus
made with baby
reverse calf)

i asked him about
his argentum project
and what he told me
is more or less
what has been written
by others above:

argentum rtw: about euro 500 or below
cause he wants it to
be accessible to most

argentum mto about euro 650
choice between 3 lasts
several models
different leathers

argentum mtm about euro 750
this replaces his standard line
with better finishing

Yes they are GYW.

I have worn my pair every day at my new job for nearly two months. Will try and take pictures soon. Overall they are excellent value and very durable. Finishing is excellent.

This gives some great options and is a nice way for him to get more shoe lovers to take the jump over to his shoes.

Are all Argentums handwelted or only the MTM line.

All hand-welted.  At least that is what I gather from the instagram acct.  I think he may have said that explicitly, but the RTW argentum pics are tagged with #handwelted or something like that.

Slow time of year. I ordered my aurum pair around then and that is what he quoted me time wise.

^ understood.  I see that the construction seems pretty much the same, but I was wondering if there were any other differences quality-wise like better leather, etc. or if the price difference was just due to more labor to get the aurum looking nicer (shaping, etc.).
