L'Occitane Products

Here's some new items from L'Occitane I received today...

I picked up the Cade Shave Oil, which is a pretty good product.  It's the first time I've tried a shaving oil vs a shaving cream.  What's unique about the shaving oil is being able to see what your shaving.  I only applied a hot towel to my face, then 4-5 drops of the oil to my two day growth of stubble.  I used a  Mach3 razor rinsed in hot water.  It was a much closer shave than normal and less messy.  After-shave is after-shave, if you like the Cade scent, you won't mind it.  The Youth Concentrate is pretty good, it mosturizes and isn't too greasy.  What I did notice was an immediate brightness to my face.  I'm curious to see if there's any difference after a month of use.

I really like the L'Occitan shampoo. And their hand cream. And the shea butter seems fine, maybe a little overpriced though (I use it because without I have rough/dry elbows).

So from what I understand, L'Occitane is really 0815 in the US, right?
It's not 0815 here, but there are quite a few stores. Prices are definitely premium. I've been to the factory in the Provence. Pretty big. wink.gif I really like their design.

I love L'Occataine's Cade shaving soap, and companion aftershave balm. Their shower gel is nice and I like their colognes (Vetyvier and L'Occatain) too.

I've used their pure shea butter for a long time, as well as their Cade Aftershave splash and their Vetyver EdT. My wife uses their lavender bubble bath all the time.

I recommend the deodorant.

The chapstick was the best I've ever used. Second stick I bought was dried out though.

coincidentally i just shaved with the cade shaving cream.
I've been using it for a few users. admittedly i haven't used too many shaving crabs, maybe 5-6 different ones, but this cream is amazing.

the after shave balm is superior though. I've tried many after shave balm and most are watery and just bland. the l'O balm literally moisturizes my face for a good 14 hours. because its a moisturizer also.

Yeah, I'm about to finish a can of the shea butter too. No comparison to others, but I liked it (ellbows and stuff).

I picked up the Cade shaving cream a few weeks ago and its better than using only the shaving oil.  The cream is the perfect amount of lather.  It's the best shaving cream I've tried in 20+ years of shaving.

I love the L'Occitan Eau de Toilette - one of the best affordable fragrances I have come across.

Their Vetyver Edt, if you are a fan of vetiver fragrances, is one of the most underrated vetivers available and should be tried because it is pretty inexpensive.

Yeah, it's solid. I like Eau de Baux a lot too. I am not a fan of Badian or whatever the other men's EDT is.

The L'Occitan has become what I wear almost every day.
