I just bought these two Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic watches:

Any opinions or experiences?

I'm not really a watch guy, but for a casual watch I think they look good.

I like them both. The faces are simple and clean, but the contrast stitching on the straps gives them some flair.
I seriously considered a Hamilton when I bought my first decent watch, but decided on Oris instead. I may yet buy a Hamilton because the quality is good, but they won't break the bank.

If you're wondering about the quality.. Hamilton is a great value brand and makes the nicest watch in the price range IMO.

If you're wondering about the style.. this type of simple pilots watch is my favorite, especially with the contrast stitching strap.

I've seen recommendations for them on a few watch fora in the past. Good solid watches.

Why did you buy two at once? I don't necessarily see a need for two casual watches that look similar. Anyway, I like the blue one better.

You know who makes a decent looking casual watch by the way is Jacques Lemans. I'm not exactly sure what their deal is, but they seem to be of decent quality and their styling reminds me of Cartier (maybe that's a bit of a stretch).

I personally really like rose gold.

IIRC you can also find them at TJ Maxx occassionally...

Couldn't decide which one of the two I like better, so I bought them both. The fact that they look similar does not bother me much.

Edit: Btw, despite the fact that they're casual, I plan on wearing both with suits and business casual outfits to work except for the most formal of occassions.

The field watch in all its various forms is my favorite watch. The Hamilton is a classic example. I've got the black face but I put a brown strap on it. Love the red tip of the second hand and the classic bold sans serif numbers.

Since just before Xmas, TJMaxx has been getting some nice high-end watches. After several markdowns, the prices are unbelievably low. The brands will vary from store to store.

Not a fan of the blue face but I like the classic black face. I have the officer ltd edition - looks like this:

I like it. Never get to wear it but I like it

The black Khaki Field is my go-to watch. I have the quartz version on a bracelet:
