Rick Owens sizing?

Thinking about picking up a pair of Rick Owens Geobaskets and i was wondering if the shoes fits true to size (cause from the look of the shoes it seems as if there's more room in the toe area that might add extra room). I wear a size 44 in Common projects Achilles low, but usually i wear 43. The 44 just gives my foot a bit more breathing space that im comfortable with.

The store im getting them from is giving me a sweat deal on them but they only have a 42 and a 45. If i get the 45 will it be TOO big? And with the 42, will i be able to fit into it? Opinions and advice is really appreciated.

I dont think either of those sizes will work for you, since it sounds like you are about a US 10 or 10.5 which is size 43 in Geos, maybe a 44 if you want more room although I would not advise that.

If you size down to 42 your toes will mash the front, since geos are wide but stubby. If you size up to 45 they will be so large you will trip over your own feet.

If you are feeling lucky and they have a good return policy try the 42s. I wouldn't bother if it were me.
