need to find a belt and a watch strap combo - Page 2

Ok misunderstand I figured it is for his wedding as he explicitly said his fiancée likes the look. And why does he have a timeframe where he needs the belt and watchstrap if it is not for a wedding.

Because she is in a hurry to dress him up.

Dumb post^^^!

If it was for his wedding......does he also get to help pick her dress. NO!!!

Dress him up for what event? If it is for work he might as well wait a bit till he finds something appropriate and why should she care what he wears at work. The only timeframe where women are sensitive are weddings. And by the way he never said it was not for a wedding.

From where do you know if he was not allowed to pick her dress? And if he has not enough style to know that such a combination is inappropriate on any occasion he might as well wear it to his wedding.

I think she is just controlling and wants him to look a certain way when they are out among her friends etc. He insists on wearing boots with the suit so she says that if you are going to wear boots your watch and belt need to match. He took this the wrong way thinking that they had to be an exact color match and not just match (ie go together)--and here we are.

Why not ask your fiance to provide, they seems to be dominating your selection.

I respectfully disagree. He never said that he insists in wearing the boots to the suit but rather that his fiancée likes the boots and thus he is wearing the shoes.

Notwithstanding the reasons why the OP wants to match up boots, belt and shoes how has the search turned out?

Quite as much sense as posting 'come again'.
