I've owned these boots since last December, so they are nicely broken in already. They have an average amount of wear and tear for 9 month old boots, which isn't much considering these should last over a decade with proper care. I've kept them oiled with mink oil monthly and they are in overall good condition. One thing to note is a bit of scuffing on the back heel of the right boot along with a couple of small nicks in the leather. It is represented in the pictures here.
