Looking for an austerity brogue

This one caught my eye:

As I understand it, they're made by Loake from the 1800 range.

Thoughts?

Currently, it would have to be made to order, which will run close to $400 and take 12 weeks for delivery.  There are plans to add it to the website in the next few months, however, which would drop the price to roughly $310 shipped.

Very nice.  I should add that fit/sizing will be an issue for me as well, as I wear a 14EEE.  The CT/Loake 13.5EEE will likely work for me.  The Edward Green you posted is beautiful...

I'm having a pair made up by Gravati. They should be done very soon. Will post up when they arrive.

No dice on Meermin.  I reached out to them and they do not have any extra-wide lasts, and therefore even their MTO isn't an option.  Bummer.

I have these. Very nice. Great antiquing on the leather, and seem to be very well made.
Quite narrow in the toe box area, though, so I would go up a 1/2 size from normal UK (I'm normally UK or Italian size 9 compared to an AE size 10, but for this Cheaney last I'm a UK 9.5 ).
